Great video, used it today BUT: The front sprocket has 2 sides, 1 flat the other with like and edge to it... How to place it? I seen videos placing the edge to the gear shift handle.... Some other guys place the edge towards the engine..... Even the Yamaha YSF200 manual doest say it... Does your sprocket also have some slack? I mean. Should it be without?
My bike drove perfect before I changed out the front sprocket .. now it under throttle it moves to the left big time and I noticed my rear left tire is closer to my nerf bar then the rear right tire .. any suggestions??
just what i needed :) Do you maybe have a video comming about the rear brake? Because my brake doesnt work like it should awesome video btw, gonna use them this winter to give my blaster a complete overhaul.
yes. as well as the top. the bottom has slots to allow adjustment the top is just used to help hold the carrier in place once adjusted. both should be tightened once complete.
This video is totally wrong, the chain on a blaster should be adjusted to between 1.2 and 1.6 inches of slack with all four wheels on the ground and no weight on the quad.read the owners manual....
Since he doesn’t really answer this question, what if the nut on the left is 3-4 rotations tighter than the right one? Will that cause any serious problems?
@@nicolas753 if it's out just a little it won't really cause a problem but enough and it will cause your back axle to wanna drag to the side thats further back. In an extreme case your chain will repeatedly come off as the rear sprocket won't be in line with the front.
@@jhammonds36 I’ve been riding it for a while and haven’t noticed anything wrong or different other than the chain being tighter. The bolt on the right just won’t tighten, and I’ve used heavy power drills for it but it doesn’t budge
So do you tighten the carrier bolts when finished?

what did u loosen beforehand with a 15mm? @grindinggearsgarage
there is a locking bolt on the bottom that prevents the carrier from moving.
so I need to loosen tht 1st?
yes. as well as the top. the bottom has slots to allow adjustment the top is just used to help hold the carrier in place once adjusted. both should be tightened once complete.
