Awesome video as always. Bunch of bikes and parts projects going on. The 95 red sportster you have looks like it may be an 883. In 95 I bought a new 1200. If my memory serves me correctly the only way you could tell the difference on site, at that time was the jugs. All the 1200 had black fins on the jugs. All the 883 were aluminum. You my need to run the numbers on it before you buy any internal components for the motor if you need them. Hopefully you won’t need any.
Your are probably right, I have not run the numbers yet, these were all bought because of the price and distance from the house. and it's been a while. Fuzzy memory.
What made you want to run a keihin butterfly carb? .. I have a few of them on my shelf. One is even chrome.. not a big fan. Same with S&S. Got a few on the shelf. I prefer to use the Kieihin CV carb. Even on my ironhead. I find them easier to tune and way better on the street ..
It was what came on the bike and I ran with it. No deep thoughts on the matter. Plus it has Screamin' Eagle written on it. Ooooooo I've got a beat up CV in the cabinet, will rebuild it just to have it ready, and compare. Who knows.
The switches I used are from eBay, the kill switch - www.ebay.com/itm/401767226719 and the duel switch - www.ebay.com/itm/401570249294 Thanks for watching!

U like your sportsers ,nice video 📹
You can pick up mid 80s sportsters for a song and a dance. They can look like crap and be perfect for what I am doing to them.

@@JoeBobsGarage Cool. Was just wondering. Those older butterfly carbs can be good ...
Where do you get the switches from?
