Jay Cee - You raised the bar with this video! Conversing with the locals is truly the best way to learn about a country or place within. Anybody can read a travel pamphlet from some tour operator, geared to their own travel clients. When you talk with the locals, we see and hear the actual facts about the place your visiting. I like the shirt you’re wearing here, as I too have one, but only in blue. I commend you for wearing Michele Ponte’s shirt, and hope he will reciprocate in some manner to acknowledge you. You had my taste buds watering with that watermelon drink here too! Thanks a lot! I’ve had a craving for watermelon lately, but refuse to pay $7 for one that is not much bigger than a cantaloupe. I’ll just have to wait until they come into season here, and dream about how much you enjoyed your watermelon beverage. I’d also like to compliment you on your Spanish! You may not be fluent, but you do a rather good job of it, and obviously manage quite well. Immersing yourself in a place where only Spanish is spoken, is an excellent way to learn and comprehend the language. Double thumbs up for this video my man! You’ve got me hooked! 👍👍

Yes, it's further than Usulután for the most part, but it still depends where one is specifically trying to go in either region to determine if certain places are closer or farther.

Having someone who isn't a native Salvadoran is so refreshing because you are staying/visiting the non-tourist areas, speaking with locals, and sharing the good our country has to offer. Love your videos! There’s a place called Juayua, they have a food festival on weekends, and the market is next to the town square. It’s close to other small towns nearby that are pretty close with a lot of outdoor views and beautiful scenery. Glad you love visiting our country! Thanks again!!

You should check out Jocoro! Its around San Miguel. You could stop by for a little bit, grab some food from one of the several smaller restourants etcc. I used to travel to other countries and only take photos. I never felt fulfilled with just a photograph. So I switched to video. And I never looked back (I take a photo only if something is super memorable or worth it to share as a snapshot).
