I have a mate called Eren Alken, he is from turkey but he moved to Whitehaven at a young age and his dad actually owns the chattanooga that you can see at 02:39
the mrs pizza, used to be a great fish & chip shop, dunbobbins it was called, where the fish they sold were huge, inside the shop, the walls were all lovely victorian tile,s ,that have prob now gone, & the sneaklifter was the central. & joe banana,s was the dolfin.
It’s an absolute dump. Same as Workington. You can throw as much money at the town as you like but the people have no ambition, they lack culture apart from a drinking culture. I’ve known people from Whitehaven that have moved to Workington, and lived there for 20 years and still not get accepted as a ‘local’ Great place if you like wearing shorts from JD Sports all year round and try your best to look as rough as you possibly can. Don’t forget to get the biggest trampoline in your back garden! It’s a strange place, but I speak from experience of living and working in the area unfortunately (moved here from elsewhere for work, trying to move away asap to a nice place like Cockermouth or Penrith)

I don't think you're gonna go thirsty there 🍺🍺
I don't know how many pubs there are now but 100 years ago they must of been 250 in Whitehaven
Also, the most fantastic Alan Hawkshaw “ Move Move Move”
Are they going to do backshift at Sellafield to keep it authentic

I used to live in Whitehaven. I've never seen so many women fighting each other in the street.
I can confirm, It's not changed any.
Hey Chris hi. My names Ric Atkins. Do you remember the advert for GAP chinos? The tune is amazing! It was by James Clarke. Called “Blow up a Go Go” 👍
Shame the way Whitehaven has gone. So much potential but no funding.
So we’re all doing the pub crawl, right?

Born and bred there. I agree. Cockermouth and Penrith aren't much better though tbh.

That place looks rough
The nicer of the local towns
Wait until you see Workington…
It's horrific, and this is the nice part of town... You should see neighbouring towns. If you don't get stabbed it's a bonus.
@@c4715 what r u Talking about?it's the quietest town you'll ever visit
Not rough at all it's a quiet seaside town
Town of alcoholics :) Population 23k and they have at least 23 pubs.
Should see some villages when there's a pub for every 25 people
Where has the dignity of this town gone?
