Another excellent teaching vid. I really appreciate you sharing your background, your human interest mentions and of course sharing your ultra talented abilities. It’s clear your cherish the memories of your Father. I’m blessed to still have my almost 94 YO Dad. He taught my how to fish, but likely won’t be able to fish much anymore as he doesn’t get around well. But I share pics of all my jigs I make😄.
    All the best!

Another great video Jay. When you say purple repeatedly you grab purple! Lol, point well taken on mail order bucktails being overpriced, anything cheaper is from roadkill anyway. When you do a bobbins video please include those that hold the larger sized spools of thread or any that hold both sizes. I’ll be waiting

Love watching your tying videos. How much should a pound a natural white bucktail pieces cost these days?

It's been about 25 years since buying tails by the pound. I don't remember but maybe $1-2 per pound.

The only places I can find bucktail pieces by the pound are asking $15.00 for 1/4 pound. One place has 2 pounds for $80. They say 2 pounds of bucktail pieces is equal to about 32 full bucktails.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Those really are sweet jigs. Do your anglers mostly tip those with live bait (or trailers) or fish them "straight" / as tied?

Thanks Rob, glad you liked the video. Plain or tipped guyes will fish both ways. I like tipping with minnow when fishing walleye.
