Jig Tying with Textreme Thread

In my search for a thread that can replace my old favorite, Danville 2/0 round unwaxed nylon thread I discovered a new (to me) company Textreme which offers two threads that may be a very good alternative to the Danville 2/0 thread.

Thank you very much for this video. I thought I was the only one who sometimes used nylon sewing thread for tying certain applications. Glad to know it’s not just me.

Jay great video as always, appreciate the additional comments that relate to years gone by. As such I was searching through my collection of vintage books and catalogs and came upon a small item. This being PRACTICAL FLIES and their construction. BY Lacey Gee and Erwin D. Sias. Hi, Jay. Today I recommended to one of my customers that he reach out to you. He is looking to buy some jigs tied on barumba heads. I tie commercially but do not carry barumba heads. I hope you can help him out.
