It does my friend. Jules is really an awesome one, he always makes it a must to take those few seconds to add those bits at the end. A few seconds and a few words that bring a lot of inspiration for those of us that get up everyday to face this cruel world. I most certainly tip my hat with upmost respect to the "The Crown Jewels of What-Culture." as well.
Holden I see you dude, been there myself too. The unexpected life-savey nuggets like a random compliment from a stranger or a positive message from a lovely person on a RUclips video can legit make all the difference sometimes! Hope you feel better, much love Xxxx
Absolutely! First time I heard his positive message at the end of videos, I was like "yeah ok buddy, all is great and rainbows, whatever feelings" Now...I just want give a hug and say thanks
I’ve been going through a rough patch and after a few months of staying off RUclips, I came back to these videos and the sound of the intro took me back to a happier time and the motivational bits at the end really keep me going. Thank you Jules, I love your videos and especially the motivational endings.
I swear that part where he was talking about the list being inaccurate and then said "About 90% of ours already are" nonchalantly. It was at that moment that it was confirmed for me that all these years of thinking Jules is the only legit and self-aware member of Whatculture around (there was Ash but she's long gone).
I hope your eyes are alright, Jules. Thank you for the great content and comforting messages. A possible idea could best supporting characters in video games or most epic unlockables in a videogame. Take care and keep being awesome!!
Hahah i really enjoy watching u jay u'r really a combo of cringy, funny, on point, entertaining, informative and most memorable meme-able if that makes any sense hahah. Out of all the members of what culture ur the beacon for the channel. Cheers from Croatia mate
Ulysses from Fall Out New Vegas Lonesome Road-what a well written, mysterious cryptic character who really makes you think about why you do what you do.
How about a list of sequels wildly different from their predecessors? Likely examples include, but are not limited to, how Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6, had vastly different tones, aesthetics, and mechanics from 1-3, how X-Com was mostly a tactical game save for its flight sim spinoff X-Com Interceptor, how Dune 1 was a point-and-click adventure while Dune 2 was the first RTS, and how Pac-Man was the iconic maze running game while Pac-Man 2: The New Pac Adventures was...actually, do you know what it is? Because I don't.
I'm glad to see that Senator Armstrong made the cut. I actually liked him, even agreed with a lot of his viewpoints (there was a RUclips video called "Senator Armstrong for President" a few years back). He was a hard villain for me to hate. I actually created a character in "DC Universe Online" that was heavily inspired by him, only I made him as a hero. Even outfitted him in a suit and tie.
1. The Duke - resident evil village 2. Solaire of Astora - Dark souls 3. Little Jacob - GTA 4 Hey Jules can you do top 10 video game worlds we wouldn’t survive?
Here's a adventure idea: most dastardly villains you dont get to punish. This could be either cause their killed by someone else, or are always escaping, or even have a convenient (and accepted by everyone in game) change of heart. Ugh call them out Jules for evading my wrath!
Honestly, Beyond and Good and Evil 2 might be THE BEST thing that's happened to Ubisoft's catalog as of recently. They haven't really been having a stellar performance as of late.
I was just wondering Jules was that mug that you show us at the start of the segment with the flags on it a little nod to "All of us are Dead" S1 E4 at 42:47 where they are talking about international signal flags??? I only just noticed this as it's a new series on Netflix
the chosen 100% deserved their #1 slot, they had so much personality and charm, as fraustrating as they were to deal with they were also a gem to experiance.
Loved this Video. :D A Suggestion for next week?? Maybe most Underrated Character's in Video Games?? I'd love to see Vaan from FFXII on it, because he is totally Underrated... People hate him but he actually Overcomes more in the Story over all the other Characters and he learns that Revenge is not the way. :)
I think The Boss from metal gear solid would be a good pick but I guess she is talked about throughout the entire metal gear franchise and is the whole reason metal gear solid is even happening. Another good pick would have been Tess from the last of us. Loved her attitude
I would love to see a list of Top ten Turn based games if not in TYOA just in general. Its a genre I love but its seems so hard to find...some of us have a hard time keeping up with RTB games due to disabilty or just new to gaming :) Thanks guys for all your do i love the videos they make me smile every day.
@@JamesDowsee Jan may be an absolute legend but she doesn't compare to the work you and Jules do on this channel. Thanks for all the great content you two (Get Down) Goblins create
There are some great one's in Dying Light. Just popped it back in as a refresher leading up to Stay Human. I forgot how amazing some of those upper tier melee weapons can be. They're not quite a 3 foot purple Dildo sword, but pretty awesome none the less.
Awesomeness as always. I have to ask one question since we're discussing one time memorable characters for you and your fellow comrades at What-Culture and all your fans tuning in, with the exception of millennial gamers remember who I doubt even know this video game villain I am about to mention, but am I the only one who remembers the pompous, arrrogant, egotistical sword-weilding villain by the name of "Gogandantess". If I have to mention what game (franchise) or who this villian "self- proclaims" himself to be, you've already answered my question 😆
I am a bit sad that Shay from Assassin's Creed Rogue didn't make this list as in my opinion he was an amazing and very likable character. He was very inspiring, kind, adventurous, caring, and determined. He has been betrayed by those who he cared about and even though he was the one for their ultimate demise he still felt remorse and bad for taking their life. In the end he was determined to do whatever is necessary to keep the world and everyone in it safe. Ps. Congratulations on the channels 2 year anniversary.
Congratulations on 200 episodes! It’s been great to see the show last this long. How about a show on the top ten sword and shield wielders (besides link). Cheers mates!
Things that give completionists nightmares...i.e. rng linked events that are noninfluencable, multiplayer tied to a normally single player game, broken/glitched missions or collectibles
Where was Ulysses,Father Elijah, and Joshua Graham at on this with New Vegas being as good as it is and with characters in the base game like The King these three guys made for extremely memorable characters who get some mentions here and there in the base game but really shine when you get to interact with them in their respective dlcs. Also bit disappointed Jules missed an opportunity to say "nano machines son".
awe... here I put in same idea couple years ago since I was thinking of splinter cell co op team, the samurai who plays cards with a woman in Tenchu wrath of heaven
here's how good psychonauts 2 is it's a short, but very interesting platformer i don't really want to replay, as i'm more a gameplay over all kinda dude, and platformers usually aren't a good fit for that after like 30 hours. just seeing the psi king's levels, however, gave me a hankering anyway.
Kotor and Kotor 2 are forever perma installed on every machine, and console if its available ever. Period. Ever! Grew up playing them. Studied to massive game book that you could get. There was a point in time, I knew every location of every detail, option, location, lore, trick, cheat, dupe, build, crystal, enemy, item, everything. Randomly ask me anything about those games and I knew it instantly. That was many years ago now.
Hands down jetstream sam from MGS revengeance is one of the most interesting & charismatic character in video games, instead of Armstrong you should've put him, he's such underrated character & deserves more credit, basically they can make a video game about him & would be a great game.
i would have included the giant somewhat undead owl from Ori and the Blind Forest because although being and looking evil everything it was doing was completely justified and rational
Top 10 game braking skill trees in video games. My first choice would be DQ11 great sword skill tree. Absolutely devastating and 1 shot world enemies nearly the whole game
You want a jack black for this list I would have gone with Eddie from Brutal Legend, great game, metal as all get out and never got so much as a remake/remaster
