The old Scottish proverb I share was found at a very interesting site called 'Cailleach's Herbarium': cailleachs-her... Also on RUclips as 'Cailleach Herbarium': @cailleachsherbarium
I don't know how I missed seeing this. Love your raised beds. I hope mine will do well next year. Oh those blackberries... I've spent years trying to eradicate them! They had almost taken over my backyard at one point. What a nightmare.
Oh, look at the berries!!! They look delicious. I wish I had your over growth problem ;) And your dad's veggie garden is such a nice way to stay connected with him.
Your blackberries look juicy! Here the blackberries shriveled and dried up months ago. I have tenacious wild brambles that are the devil surrounding much of my gardens. And you need a trigger warning on this video. That tree stump in the middle of the path between your raised beds caused all kinds of trauma to bubble to the surface...yikes! Huhhuh! I love blackberry tarts tho!

And no matter how careful I am, they always get me!

Oh, and thank you for the link! You always share sites that are new to me and fun to explore. :)
A pleasure.
