Same!!! I took a long detour and lived in all sorts of dwellings except a loft... but I knew as a preteen I wanted a loft with it's own loading dock or elevator... I knew a dope artist in B-more with a space so huge he sectioned it off into a 200+sqft studio, performance space/living room, kitchen/bath/dining, and a 400+ sqft bedroom with a fire escape. I was so inspired - edited my dream to include a performance space for live jams. I'm very content as I am now since I'm doing comic style stuff... But I'm planning on making huge paintings and ink works and have been looking to see what's possible. If I don't get it in time, I will be one of those people that take everything to a park and do some live painting when I'm in the mood to be around folks :D... Best wishes on your loft...
