    I had food poisoning in Lima in 1978. If it lasts a week, it is definitely something else.
    Love the new aggressive style, which has been evolving over the last few months. You’ve been attacking much more consistently, and you have weapons now. Your forehand looks very different from six months ago: it’s turning into an ATP forehand, and it is both more reliable and a real weapon.
    You’re going to need to continue to play aggressively if you want to move up higher in the rankings. Most players have one or more significant flaws on their groundstrokes, and putting them on the defensive is the best way to bring out those flaws.
    Best wishes for continued success!

      That’s exactly what I think. Food poisoning doesn’t last a week. Lots of bugs. Probably viral. Mosquitoes or something waterborn.

      Dudes. Im spreading the message of the "baseline closest to you phenomenon" The lower the camera, the more it happens. It is a perspective issue. When the camera was low like this, balls that look inside the line or on the line are actually in, this only happens for the baseline closest to the camera though. Please help spread the message. This is even more true in actual tennis play, because humans are looking from a even lower vantage point, which means if you are standing behind someone and they call it out, but it looks way in, please account for the perspective issue. The ball has to look about a inch inside of the line for the ball to actually be in if you are looking at the baseline closest to you.

  • @LegolasD
    @LegolasD 17 дней назад +4

    I think if you have that gear, that's going to have to be your game at the bigger tournaments. As you move up your default probably won't win you all those matches it once did. It's more a function of the way the prize money /ramking works, look at Eubanks or Cressy they got hot for a few months and it propelled them to a lot bigger money and a ranking that sustained them for a year + . Better to go this way hope to run hot for a few weeks/months that get you into slams for the following year, than grind for year after year at lower places? Just looking at it from a $ risk/reward thing

    K, ma man. The way you change directions and now playing more aggressively for shorter rallies must be a lateral movement nightmare for your opponents.
    Aggression it is. I think most top 100 players exercise this mindset anyhow for greater intensity, if possible.
    Too good.

    @Karue, This has been on the back of my mind for over a year. Your game is perfect, absolutely what I would love to have. But is it good enough, aggressive enough to lock horns with top tiers? Again, my input is as a club player and tennis-watching person and not a pro. Your game feels like Richard G whose game I absolutely love and can watch endlessly but do I expect him to win against Nadal/Federer or any other top players, not in this lifetime. So, back to the point, I loved the idea that you added an aggressive part to your game and hope you take it many more notches up so we can see you knocking the top 100/200 players down.

    Do you ever feel like you could play more aggressively with the VCore 95? If that’s the strategy you want to implement going forward… You seem to have more pop with that racquet, and it seems like when you’re trying to hit the percept with more shape, it loses a decent amount of penetration/accuracy compared to the VCore.
    Great match!

    you were in the driver seat for the whole match, though I'd say you had the perfect opponent to play full attack on, he doesn't seem comfortable with someone constantly taking the ball early and hitting hard.
    Against someone who's a good pusher and used to dealing with aggressive players, you might get frustrated and tired much quicker
