Помню только добрался до Lich King, и очень хотел посмотреть Даларан. Каким страданием для меня было, пробираться через Драконий Погост. Эти заснеженные и заледеневшие горы и скалы. Йети, кости драконов. Снег, холод, метель, ужас, не передать словами. Но за-то, когда начали виднеться первые деревья Леса Хрустальной Песни, через эту серую арку. А потом еще больше и больше. Это была настоящая сказка! А музыка там была какая. Эта, застывшая природа, осенние березы, а потом еще и хрустальные. Восхитительная локация, одна из самых мною любимых. В актуальной версии, к сожалению испорченая, освещение не то. А вот в Wrath of the Lich King - то что надо! Пожалуйста, загляните туда.

Stunning performance, it carries the soul-shaking feelings of this song. This music never fails to bring tears to my eyes. I grew up on this stuff. The meaning and emotion of the story it tells is so great and sad It's almost hard to handle.

He did many wrong things, but not because he was evil. He did it because he got broken and corrupted. Seeing so much suffering, pain and death and beeing unable to help, broke something in prince Arthas mind, causing him to take drastic methods and making wrong decisions. Frostmourne just finished the little that was left of Arthas.

The score was introduced in w3 expansion "frozen throne" blizzard was releasing epic music way before world of warcraft.

Haven't played in 8 years, but i remember those lines. Coupled with the excellent performance in the video here, I nearly cried. Blizzard were masters at their craft.

Arthas - One of my favourite characters and stories of all time. Someone who was so desperate to save his people he'd do anything; only to be broken down and molded into its, and one of Azeroth's, worst enemies. His story is so tragic, and yet I love it.

This was an amazing performance by Jillian. The fact that people are "talking only about Arthas" means that she nailed this piece and managed to completely put us all back in time 13 years ago when we all unfolded Arthas' story. She managed to make us time travel.

After 9 YEARS THIS is the best performance that i ever heard! Its one of the best it brings so many memories, this game has truly one of the best tracks. again GOOD JOB
The song already has a very sad tone to it and it usually makes me tear up a bit.
But then they show the Icecrown citadel raid and all the memories came back from that time.
All that effort to stop the madness that had overtaken Arthas. I didn't raid to get ridiculous upgrades, I raided to see the end to Arthas' story.
Wrath was probably the best time I've every played in WoW. I made so many lasting friends whom I play with even still to this day.

WoW: WotLK & Old School RuneScape are what inspired me to become a game developer. This is one of my favorite songs, getting to hear it like this is amazing, gave me some good chills!

@@twisted_nether373 mostly because WoWs previous music excelled at connecting with the heroes/villains personalities and stories,for example Anduins theme on legion was one of the most amazing ones. we just need those deep characters back. the ones like arthas. like Illidan. but that will not happen. mostly since we go through the expansions with all the new characters,whereas they had entire expansions to be built upon previously. we met arthas in Wc3,then heard about scourge and hints of it through classic,then it was quite silent during tbc,when we confronted illidan who was also connected in a way to Arthas,before going to arthas in wotlk. but thats not something that happens in the newer expansions. most of the villains you meet,youll kill or beat that expansion,which in turn doesnt make any of them stick,or make them feel dangerous or memorable,no matter how good their design or looks are. :/

why everybody talks about arthas and not the solo singer who performed? This is the best performance I've come across so far. She's a great singer, probably the best intonation closest to the soundtrack and able to hold it so well at high pitches. This was beautiful
@Grey Knight I would agree if the video was just about the music, if u are searching for a live performance it's different. Since it is a performance what you are looking for is people trying to replicate the "studio quality" or how close to the original it can be else you would just listen to the soundtrack. But hey maybe my view is influenced because I'm a musician myself, so it gives me a different perspective
