I have a basic account but had a slight issue with their cheque process and wanted to give anyone a heads up-if it's a large cheque try to send them evidence via the chat at the same time as it is posted, otherwise the verification process takes ages. Monzo sent me a token by way of apology which was reassuring as it took a long time!
Just signed up for Monzo Premium after having normal account for 3 years...quick question, does the travel insurance also cover my mum and dad (we stay at the same address) if we go on holiday together?x
What way do you use to check your credit score as I know each company has their own credit score so I'm not sure if you sign up and pay for each (e.g. pay for Equifax reports, Experian etc.) Or do you just pay for an overall service using e.g. checkmyfile.com ? Thanks!
Ms Rachel Abi If you want a more detailed report then you can pay but Clear Score, Credit Karma and Experian offer free checks which is more than enough for me!

I currently only use my Monzo for my Bills & Food Shops etc. I use an app called Moneyboard where I can keep track of my spending and i can set "Budgets" for example Food £300 a month. I enter each transaction into Moneyboard and i can then see how much I have left on each budget. Say for example I spend £70 on food - it will show me i have £230 left out of £300 for Food in that month. This helps me limit my spending, can you do this on Monzo Plus?
You’re welcome! Monzo regular has always had a feature where you can create budgets in the app for different categories ie transport, food etc. It also breaks it down and shows you how much of your budget you’ve spent. Hope this helps!

I think the only problem with the budgets on the standard Monzo is that I can't split my payments into categories, for example I spend £70 on a food shop in one transaction but £15 of that could be toiletries and i can't separate the expenditure/break it down into another Budget category, is that something Monzo plus allows?
OSAREME EDEOGHON Good question and nope you don’t! I’ve used it personally and it’s seamless, they detect where you are from your transaction and you carry on as normal.

Good question! It does cover you and your family with a £50 excess. The Monzo website goes into more depth if you need. Hope that helps!

Do you have to let them know before leaving the country so your card use is seamless,

With the virtual cards are you allowed to creat the names on the card or do they give them to you

When you put your virtual cards into apple wallet you are not able to see the name you have allocated to them, only the colour of the card
