I find this reporter very rude. She cuts the executive off. I am not siding this lady becos I don't trust her one bit but just becos she is a reporter she is one ride lady I don't condone rudeness regardless but of cos she thinks she is one big lady that knows everything . I'm not sure if it was mentioned in this interview (I haven't finished watching it), but Hong Kong is loosening restrictions on foreign medical credentials. These past few decades have seen the hospital system fail to keep up with population growth, but even if you look at other countries with universal/public healthcare, wait times are an ever-present problem for any "affordable" healthcare system. Covid just makes it more dangerous and more easily overloaded.
The hamstring border measures are necessary for the city as the virus is still highly transmissible across the globe. Economically speaking, the border measures might slow down the speed of economic recovery and make the city less attractive to foreigners. But remember, the public health is the first priority that both government and people are concerned.
