I’m a Seiko fan through and through, always will be, but I’ve had it with Seiko bracelets that have 2 micro adjusts, that really means 1 micro adjust. And a pressed folding clasp, even the cheap (not cheap looking) Chinese watches have a milled steel folding clasp with better adjustment. Yes, the watch looks nice, but come on, how it fits on the wrist is extremely important.
Concise review. I'm leaning towards 37 or 38 mm for dress/sport watches. Im average wrist and 40mm is too big for my taste when it comes to watches like this. I like the old school look of 37 to 38mm watches. To me, 40mm is good for chronographs or divers. Very slick watch though. Great choice.
Why did you mention it's a two-tone in your final thoughts? This isn't a two-tone watch. Only the SUR377 with green dial is a two-tone gold/titanium. Hope you can review it soon.
Big miss with this line… they need to use a version of the VH31. It’s a mechanical quartz movement. There are some ally brands putting it in $50-75 watches. No excuse for having a lessor moment in this.

I’ve got the older version of this watch with the 7N43 and it’s been going strong for 14 years only loses 2 seconds a month.

Is the ticking audible in a quiet bedroom?
I have one. No. Great accuracy. 1-2 seconds fast in 2 weeks. Looks nearly black most of the time
I cannot hear it 6 inches from my ear. Can barely hear 1 inch away. Good luck

I have one, its very nice. Its only 66 grams and maybe the light weight makes you think its cheap.
