3:11 getting the tone and play along sing songy part of Cherub Rock is one thing but she absolutely effin nails the solo which has emotional content for those who love this song. Amazing.
The \D\E ending is very satisfying to play. I do the same at the end - slide the E up the neck - nearly impossible to resist doing that. I guess it replaces the crackle sound at the end. Love this cover! This too was one of my favs to play, but on Rock Band.

Great cover! I've played the main riff for years, finally getting round to learning the solo... Do you realise, of all the cover/tutorial RUclips videos of the cherub rock solo yours is the most accurately sounding one! You should do a tutorial!!

Great cover of a great song - also emphasizes how important the bassline and the drums are in this song. While the guitar lays down the melody it's the drums that drive it forward.

I forgot how unique and inspired that solo. In my mind I had placed some of the 'cool factor' on the effects, but even without, the notes and phrasing definitely make it a one of a kind memorable solo.
Cool! I had to buy one of those guitars with birds on it. I bought the PRS SE Mira in Black w/ Tortoise Guard. It sounds way better than my other guitar which was a Mikro. I thought a Mikro would be better with small hands, but it just means that the strings are so close together that I press two at the same time.
PRS guitars are fantastic, including the SE models. Hope you enjoy it! I have the very first SE model they made that I bought new in 2000, and it still plays and sounds great. Neither the action or truss rod have been adjusted in 20 years, no joke, and it’s still perfect.
Sofie, serious question. How many songs do you learn at once? or do you try to focus on a single one at a time. i ask because I am going mental with wanting to learn every song I like.
