The artwork in this DBZ movie was sooo good! I loved how the city looked at night, and the destruction was amazing! This was one of the best DBZ movies ever! It seemed more serious, and I loved the fight scene Gohan had mainly, because it was a night!

he was basically like ss2 bc he had to take gohan, vegeta, trunks, and picolo's energy to defeat him, all that energy makes him about ss2, and then when brolly came back he was even stronger, he just played around with his enemies to the extent that it was his downfall. if he went full power, it would have taken a ss2 or 3 to beat him

Making him pure evil, no restraint no holding back not a care in the world. In that case, the only one that dosent care about testing strength or a good fight like super buu would have... But just to destroy like he was meant to... So he did, he destroyed the earth like nothing. I beleive that absorbtion put his evil "On a leash"... But did increase power.
Vegeta using final flash could EASILY overpower the Kamehameha Wave/Blast so win win! + if dragon fist isnt canon tell me your proof+ Gohan[Mystic] was stronger than goku SSJ3 for the first time. WHY? because even goku says himself he didnt have much time to practice this a full power SSJ2 would have been stronger than a first time ssj3

I think half-blood saiyans might have the passion to protect the ones they love when confronted to a harsh environment (Future Trunks, future Gohan, kid Gohan) As far as Goten and Trunks go, it's hard to tell if they have the "protection" feeling or just plain revenge. They happily fight each other but that might be just rivalry, not fighting passion.
True, my thinking about that is this - When Vegito was inside Super Buu after he took down his shield the fusion ceased to work. As you said in GT Gohan can Super Saiyan and he was also inside Super Buu. Perhaps being inside Super Buu effects kai related things.
@jayson101ish The dude you saw with the flute, he was keeping him within his body sealed, however the seal weakened because he was injured and getting old... so he was released when he tried to release him, Hildegarn had grown too strong, and it shattered the flute.
Actually, it has been hinted that Goku and Vegeta trained their son couple of days (weeks tops) before the tournament. There are various hints as in Trunks and Goten being reluctent to training, wanting to do other stuffs (Goten wanted to go out with his date for exemple)

Didn't anyone notice that Gohan was only beaten because he was distracted by the fact that Goten and Trukns were beaten down. ( might have been Bulma and the staff don't remember). He had his back towards Hildegarn.
