That's one fish that you don't need a batter for, just roll in seasoned fish fry and deep fry!

Richard Gene I’ve been watching you for 2 years. Crappie was never my target before then as I always fished for bass. I have learned almost everything I know about crappie fishing from your videos and have gotten pretty fair at it because of your insight. Matter of fact I routinely outfish my buddies using what I’ve mostly learned from you. I don’t even fish for bass anymore lol. I haven’t went night fishing for them yet but I’m going to Cabelas in the morning to get me a light. You need to make some more light stands and put them on your merchandise page because you ain’t taught me nothing bout carpentry yet. 🤣😂. Love your vids bubba I watch them all.

Richard you were talking about catfishing on a full moon. I know very little about catfishing but when I'll slow roll a spinnerbait through a bluegill bed I often catch a cat on the deep side of the beds. They seem to be following the bluegill and waiting for one to swim off the beds. I'm pretty convinced if a guy had the right bait he could catch them around bluegill beds a few days before and on the full moon.

THIS is for me, I don't do mornings good. But when it gets dark is I come alive!.
I like the "who dat" Paddletail by Mr Crappie for nighttime jigging, it has alot of purple flake with gold as well, really cool looking plastic. Maybe try a color like that for bigger nighttime Crappie but I find it's even better for targeting white bass at night.

Good stuff! In my area I very seldom get a light bight usally a hard thump! Great video I will have to tie a few of those jigs up and see how they work we have similar water conditions in Nebraska. My favorite Handtie is a black and orange jig head with a brown or black chinelle and light brown fox fur with some gold tinsel flash. Crappie killers for sure.
