Il Maestro Miaghi di Karate Kid al minuto circa 10:51 è una perla ;-)

Absolutely incredible graphics! How is it possible that in the days of the C64, the creators did not know how to do this. Most of the old games on the Commodore 64 have terrible graphics and are still crappy to play. Today, plates, candles, teapots, etc. are finally not flying around the rooms anymore. Thank goodness more realistic games are being made on the C64.

This is made by a professional commercial development team that has modern development tools at their disposal, making many aspects of the game easier to develop in a timely manner including composing the score

There were quite a few very talented people back then who turned out amazing games.
But there were also hundreds of cheap knock off games that were quickly produced to grab a few bucks.
Also, many gamers only had cassette decks, no disk drives. If this game were released on cassette, it would be lacking all those nice character faces during conversations because the game had to load those from disk every time you ran into someone.

Well done on completing the game. The game has 5 different endings. You got one of the bad endings as you were not quick enough to save the villagers. See if you can get one if the better endings by getting to the village before the avalanche reaches the red zone.

Yes, I should have checked the manual again before the third episode and jumped into the wind gusts a bit. That way, the avalanche still reached the red zone at the last second. But no matter, this way I didn't spoil the best ending for the other players out there.

@@VIPERsRetrogamevideos I will go ahead and purchase/play the game myself. But to help me get the best ending, what are the criteria for that conclusion? I had thought Skipping the emergency sirens Was the answer, but clearly it isn't. You have to take the high ground and do both.

@@jordanscherr6699I received this information from Louie about the 5 different endings:
Avalanche catches you and you die (worst ending)
Yeti is alive and you are too slow to get to the village (very bad ending)
Yeti is dead but you are too slow to get to the village (bad ending - the one I have)
Yeti is alive and you get to the village in time (good ending)
Yeti is dead and you get to the village in time (best ending)
      -
When you get to the Yeti boss battle, if you die three times you are then given a choice to bypass the Yeti and go straight to the third stage - this is where Yeti is alive.
Yeti dies by the method I used - this is the only method (deflecting the snow balls and dropping stalactites).
To get to the village in time, you must reach the village before the avalanche reaches the red zone. You want the red zone to be as small as possible - which you do by restoring all three emergency systems.

@@jordanscherr6699My mistake was that I didn't jump up into the wind gusts towards the end, which would have pushed me a bit away from the avalanche.
