Thank you indeed for this video. I was just about to order the VDR Set in addition to my Ultra. Now I am convinced to do the right thing. Really great sceneary, where you are driving!
Clarks Hill Lake in Georgia and I don't think you will regret it. I have driven it a ton since this video and it's still my most predictable, best performing truck
I cannot wait to compare the Pro and the VRD. The VRD is backordered, so who knows how long the wait will be. I have several "climbs to nowhere" and it's a treat to conquer them each time. Thanks for sharing this awesome build!
Thx for sharing the build. I can’t believe how quiet that setup is. Any knowledge if the fusion pro would be as quiet as the motor/esc you put on there? Def going to try that servo!
I wish I would have known the carbon was coming before I bought a scx10 pro…I was just 2 months after I bought the pro I heard about the carbon…..granted the pro does extremely well and in some case slightly better than the carbon because of the straight axles….overall I think the carbon shines over the Pro. Nice video and great location for testing …..
Appreciate it! Yeah I am in the exact same boat as you. I was late to the pro party and had just ran mine for the first time when this was announced. Looking forward to hitting the same lines with them. I do think this terrain favors portals but perhaps a "field trip" is needed
@@Krazy4KVs oh yeah, that terrain would definitely favor portals. I’m sure the Pro would do great at side hilling or extreme angles possibly better than the carbon…but not by much if any.
Isn't it found out that the ESC is coming from like not team move what's the other one Alibaba or one of them I can't remember but it's like $45 and they're selling it for $150 also know here lately you cannot get ahold of them for nothing
It does look an awful lot like the Rhino ESC. I believe they have tuned these a bit but I'm not sure. Haven't needed to talk to them lately so idk about customer service as of late
Thank you for listing parts used. Makes things so much easier.
Glad to help

Definitely get that pre-order in so you can snag one! It's worth it
Looks like it’s available right now on the site. Cant wait to get mine. I ordered with the 10% sitewide sale at Amain for Black Friday.
@andrewhead4365 same here. Hopefully, they will fill the backorders quickly. Enjoy!
Another awesome video! Keep em coming!
Much appreciated!
That looks like Lake Allatoona in Georgia
You are the 3rd person to guess that. It's Clark's hill lake in Georgia
U won't regret buying they belay esc over the Holmes v3
They need to do a Capra moon buggy style car. They like that stuff..bomber..wraith something tubed like that.
Yeah that would be cool but I'd honestly be surprised by it if they made one.

Fusion pro is extremely quiet as well! Can't go wrong with that. Just can't switch to the behind the axle servo with a motor that big
Good job, this ol fart looking for something new, like the kit 👍
It's hard to beat for the money

Where can you purchase Vanquish vehicles from? I have never even heard of them before until now.
www.vanquishproducts.com/ or AMain has them
Did you use f9 axles instead of the included f10s?
Negative. F10s. Built exactly by the manual
are these vented tires or wheels?
Tires always unless they are RTR wheels that are already vented
Let me know, if I can paint ya' other Body. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Haha I appreciate that Curtis! I'll keep ya in mind
Yeah man, awesome!!
