I’ve been running them for awhile now (1500+ rds) and I haven’t had not one failure with the MagPul GL9 mags, also I’m running the 21 rounders in my G45 Gen5. So yes I’d trust my life with them.
Nice video. I have used the Magpul mags in my 19X for the past year. Honestly they work great and have had zero problems. I use them at the range all the time. I do have Glock mags loaded for home duty, but at this point I would trust the Magpuls just the same. My opinion is the Magpul is a very good alternative. Happy shooting.
Springs wear out with repeated use. They may take a set while loaded, but it is the repeated compression and release that wear the springs out.@@u2fkeys665
@TexasTeaHTX no its not I took mines to the range and the one the magazine that was always loaded kept jamming the last 2 rounds. The other 2 magazines worked just fine.
Good video. Mags seems to work just fine. I don't have a Glock, but if I were to carry, I would also go with the Glock mags and use the others for practice. Take care.
@@HermitagePrepper how hard do you train with them because everyone I know who has them and uses them hard they all say they are shit. And I despise pcc’s so I don’t own any .
@@Dcm193 i shoot about once a month with the glocks and about twice a year with the scorpion. No jams after about 3k rounds using only magpul. Pcc is my home defense.
when you buy a PSA dagger, it comes with Pmags, I would think PSA did research on the quality of the mags. I have standard Glock and Magpul and had no issues.
Only issue I ever had was with using some steel case ammo. It does not slide well against the inside of the plastic mag. It had some issues binding up inside mag. With the metal lined Glock mag no issues using steel case.
Great to know they are good for my glock too. I use them in the ARs along with hexmags and neither have let me down. Going to go pick up a few for the g19, local store has them for $11 each.
I use pmags for my AR, too... Ive been reading alot of negative reviews about glock P-mags, so im a little apprehensive. About hexmags though, ive had nothing but bad experiences with them.
@MrJp990 I picked up the pmags for my g19. They worked fine. I took them out the day after buying them. What kind of issues have you had with hexmags? Only problem I had with hexmags was when I loaded 300 blackout in them, they didn't like to feed so well. They have been flawless for me in my 5.56 guns.
I have shot a few thousend rounds with my pcc and had not a single malfunction with the Magpul mags. The mags dont like steel case ammo. The paint of the casings will make the mags sticky and can proce failures to feed.
I noticed this too with covid era winchester steel case, they just wanted to go tip up whenever I loaded them. I had issues with the same steel case and oem mags where I couldn't use the slide release to chamber them, had to slingshot it
I didn't notice they were all polymer til you pointed that out. I happened to have one sitting on my desk when you mentioned that and I looked at it like "holy shit, no wonder people complain". I only bought it because they were out of Glock mags at the store, but I wouldn't buy another. Can't put a price on reliability when it comes to your life.
@@Spidermonkey2a yeah that’s literally what the shop told me haha. I’d rather just buy Glock official magazines, it’s like 10 bucks more but it’s worth it. On eBay they have them at reasonable prices with no shipping.
Two for the price of one Glock mag? Yeah I’ll take that, for every Glock mag I own I have two pmags. So for $50 I get three mags when I decide to buy. Starting to have a nice little collection
@@Spidermonkey2a only for a reload with slide locked back tho. Cuz it makes the slide hard to move if u have to rack it. But if your slide is locked back you can slap the pmag with 16 rounds in it . And it will work fine.
They're alright just ugly and no witness marks. They also do NOT load with the glock speedloaders, they will jam up and bullets will go tip up if you try to use it. Handloading no problem. There's some kind of weird geometry with the follower but to be fair I've never had any malfunctions. I kind of just dislike them and would rather trade my stock in for more oem mags
Glocks are ugly in the first place. That's one of the reason why I carry mine. 1. They are reliable 2. They're already ugly so I don't have to worry scratching them up making them uglier.
Glock is a utilitarian design. It wasn't made to be pretty, it just works. The slide still looks like the billet it was milled out of. But I like the iconic look. Hi Point is ugly.

I don't leave mines loaded any more they do strain the spring so I quit doing that

I have a few 27 rd PMAGS no issues at all , also good video
Much appreciated
I’ve came across some really cheap and haven’t had issues. I keep a few loaded in different spots around the house.

Its everyone's own money but, I think it is odd how folks say I'll use the PMAGS for everything but, not for CCW.
I exclusively use Magpul Glock mags the only caveat is don't use steelcase ammo in them. other than that they are 100% reliable with brass ammunition
I can confirm this. Ran a pmag in a nak9 filled with steelcase and had feeding issues. Brass tho, good to go.
Agree, steel case sucks through them. I can't even figure out why! Bothers me
