If this game as an eSport wants to grow itll have to be 1v1/2v2, 8v8 is fun and all but it would be awesome to see the APM/Awareness from the players POV cause this game is fun to watch as is but actually seeing a players decision making in real time would be awesome on LAN.
Imagine trying to sign 8 players to an org in a game that basically has all the money it makes go directly into the game itself. Id absolutely watch every single 1v1/2v2 LAN if they actually did this. A man can dream.
The standard complaint that the OS altogether doesn't work, after which the player with the higher OS has without too much trouble smashed the player with the lower OS. The same story repeats itself all the time. No matter how weak the player rating system is, that number always means quite a lot. To have a high score you have to beat strong players and that already says it all. And just because the OS isn't perfect doesn't mean that this score means nothing. It still means a lot.
To enter T2 in a 1v1 or even big team games where you don't have a dedicated eco player is a decision of whether or not the situation you are in calls for trading 10 medium tanks or another opportunity such as a sneaky air lab and a few bombers.
A lot of the time in 1v1 you just don't need to go T2. This is a good example of how High Skilled players can finish a match in like 20min without it. Feels like a lot of the time you only need it to break a Stalemate.
thanks for shining the spotlight on us that enjoy 1v1
i love the start where they are talking about how to elo manipulate lol
Very fun match! I was sure the red was toast but blue made a few bad calls and ended up losing. Thank you for casting this one!
Im blue in this match. Finding a lose condition in a won game is my specialty 😢

Once it gets official matchmaking and goes to steam, we'll see how big the playerbase gets and what the most popular modes will be.
@@real_reZmi when is that happening roughly?
Most tourneys so far have been 5v5, teamwork is a huge part of a good team.
@@Zen_1g no official date but it's on their roadmap. These guys are running on donations so they're probably not working full time
Can't help but think some minelayers would've been great in this match
Wanted to see the banshee snipe, that would be karma
I only get banshee sniped by sub-15 OS these days smdh
I like to use this map for a warm up. I wish there were more good small maps like this for 1v1-4v4 even tho I'm still bad on any map. =P
More Brightworks :D
as fun as team games are 1v1s are the most exciting in any rts

A 1v1 :O
it seems to me that most 1v1s just end up stuck in t1 forever
