My mom let me have wine once, when I was 19. I got drunk pretty quickly. She asked me if I was drunk & when I said yes, she immediately asked me how much money I had in my savings. She put her hand over it to cover it again, and when she took her hand off to look for a sticker to put over it, the green light turned on again. She slapped the sticker on it as fast as she could and the green light stayed on for a few more seconds, and then it was gone.

My ex was an avid 4channer and once in awhile I would sit down with him and cruise the boards. One time ...maybe 2 years ago.. we came across a thread where someone was hacking into personal webcams (baby monitors, xbox kinnects, etc) we watched as this person would use the speakers to talk to the unsuspecting people. I watched as families searched their living rooms, confused where the singing was coming from, or a mother rushing into the nursery to hear who was making noises, and even watched a guy watch football on his leather couch for like 4 minutes. It was fascinating in an "i know i shouldnt watch " type of way. I went down a rabbit hole trying to figure out just how easy it was to hack into them. The most I ever got was using the admin password to tap into a street camera in some unknown country. My ex explained that stumbling on a thread like this was rare...especially on /b/. It has always stuck with me hung up in the duality of curiosity and concern . It was like watching someone play SIMS

The second one is most likely a controlling or suspicious husband keeping track of her movements. The pictures of her makeup, keys, bags etc are all to ensure she wasn't leaving the house without telling him as these are all used before leaving the house. It would be easy to put those items back in the same rough place but not the exact same position so having a photo of them to compare to is probably what he was doing

don't do it. Here is my personal experience. Was working for for several years and had built a solid working relationship with a women who every one wanted to rattle the bones with. She worked in a different department to me. Anyways the company goes into administration Ie gone bust. I knew the company was on a limited timelimit, so thought " Why not, its not as if we will be working here for much longer" So we agreed to take our relationship beyond the work place. We both put up with the whispers and rumblings from workmates, the sex was awesome. 3 months later the Company folds and the cute hottie that I had seen at work every day for the past 4 years moves in with me. Why not I thought...Then the sex stopped and so did the communication....2 years later after sharing a house and our lives together, I realised that all we actually had in common was our former workplace. Needless to say the relationship ended poorly with her basically bleeding my finances dry and losing my rental house. Havent spoken since she walked out the door. Dont Do It. I have been a user of controllablewebcams and other camera sites for a while and here's some advice for you: -change your passwords ALWAYS. -make sure the firmware of your camera is up to date. -the cameras on your phone and laptop are most likely NOT open, there is no broadcasting software on your computer or phone. -ideally get a camera that records to somewhere local, not a company server.

The webcam thing happened to my friend once, while we were skyping. We were talking with both of our webcams off, and all of a sudden she says "hey my webcams not on is it?" I check and no, it's just her regular skype icon. "The green light is on next to it tho" (for some reason we're both whispering now) "try turning it off and on again" i said, (I wasn't very helpful) she says, "hold on, let me call you back in a sec, I need to make sure this is off" so we end the call, and then she calls me back, breathing pretty heavy and it's obvious she's freaked out. She had ended the call, and when the green light didn't turn off, she got suspicious. She looked right into the webcam and said something like "I know you can see me" and the light immediately turned off. She put her hand over it to cover it again, and when she took her hand off to look for a sticker to put over it, the green light turned on again. She slapped the sticker on it as fast as she could and the green light stayed on for a few more seconds, and then it was gone.

I watched as families searched their living rooms, confused where the singing was coming from, or a mother rushing into the nursery to hear who was making noises, and even watched a guy watch football on his leather couch for like 4 minutes. It was fascinating in an "i know i shouldnt watch " type of way. I went down a rabbit hole trying to figure out just how easy it was to hack into them. The most I ever got was using the admin password to tap into a street camera in some unknown country. My ex explained that stumbling on a thread like this was rare...especially on /b/. It has always stuck with me hung up in the duality of curiosity and concern . It was like watching someone play SIMS

The second one is most likely a controlling or suspicious husband keeping track of her movements. Why has noone made some type of camera cover for smartphone cameras? One that you can easily put on and take off if you need to take a photo. Maybe a phone case with a ”lid” over the camera that you flip up when you take a photo

don't do it. Here is my personal experience. Was working for for several years and had built a solid working relationship with a women who every one wanted to rattle the bones with. She worked in a different department to me. Anyways the company goes into administration Ie gone bust. I knew the company was on a limited timelimit, so thought " Why not, its not as if we will be working here for much longer" So we agreed to take our relationship beyond the work place. We both put up with the whispers and rumblings from workmates, the sex was awesome. 3 months later the Company folds and the cute hottie that I had seen at work every day for the past 4 years moves in with me. Why not I thought...Then the sex stopped and so did the communication....2 years later after sharing a house and our lives together, I realised that all we actually had in common was our former workplace. Needless to say the relationship ended poorly with her basically bleeding my finances dry and losing my rental house. Havent spoken since she walked out the door. Dont Do It. Definitely not a Nike moment thats for sure.

I have been a user of controllablewebcams and other camera sites for a while and here's some advice for you:
-change your passwords ALWAYS.
-make sure the firmware of your camera is up to date.
-the cameras on your phone and laptop are most likely NOT open, there is no broadcasting software on your computer or phone.
-ideally get a camera that records to somewhere local, not a company server.

my guy I feel like those two sentences are in conflict.... you can have that both ways.
I mean, historically... a dude could come home, rape his wife, then beat her for letting dinner burn during, to then check her in at an asylum before sun down. Now, what type of sane person wants to work at a place where they knowingly compromise some girl's sanity with a cocktail of drugs, including powerful anti-psychotics, and direct current to electrodes pinned to the brain? Asylums, outside of modern times of modern countries, have literal culminated the worst cesspools of human indecency possible.

This one felt fake to me. It's random enough to feel real, but there's genuinely no good explanation besides trolling.

Nexpo just didnt read it... the explanation is that her husband is taking photos of proof that she is living with him for the imigration and the camera has time stamps so its better than using phone. Now why would he keep this cam hidden? Idk maybe he thinks she wouldnt be comfortable with it so he just keeps it secret since it has to be done
Maybe he thought she was cheating and took pictures so to see if they moved. Then he could confront her about where she were and why she put on makeup or something. I think it's dumb as fuck but it's my best guess.
