for being Corey's first time acting he was exceptional. he showed George's emotion so well and really made you think he was mad. EDIT: for those who did not understand this is his debut in a lead role no that he doesn't have experience.... but still it is his first time in a big role
I was so impressed with the way Corey made George put on a fake no-nonsense and happy air and attitude when explaining to Charlotte that they’d be living in separate houses, and in other scenes like when they meet in the observatory for the first time. When Charlotte tells him off and speaks her mind Corey plays George’s reaction well in letting the viewer know that George actually agrees with Charlotte on her dissatisfaction in their marriage early on, and that his forced distance is just an act because he’s afraid and hiding something. I just knew from the first episode it would be a good watch.
@@-maru-chan because people are whining about there being a lead black actress, even though at the start of the season it said that it was fiction based on truth 🙄
I was hospitalized and diagnosed with congestive heart failure back in December. The first thing I told the doctors was i need to live long enough to see the new bridgerton show coming out next year. Baby when i tell you this was well worth fighting to live for and did not disappoint in any way. This has brought me so much joy.
I’m not trying to complain, but I noticed this too. They did the same thing with Kate and Anthony. Two actors with great chemistry and not nearly enough screen time where they’re emotionally connecting on screen.
This is hands down the best bridgerton series yet. Corey and India played their characters brilliantly well. The last episode was so touching and utterly heartbreaking at the same time that I was crying buckets while going "aww"😅
I loved indias delivery of the line ‘that is what I said yes’ because it felt casual and more modern than the rest of the dialogue. The way she had her hand out like ‘duh’ 😂
That last line wer George says thank you for not going through the wall ..my heart melted I was literally crying ❤..it was so good this season is my literal favourite..not only because of their story but Because it’s how she was there for him fought for him and nevr left his side ❤
It's Corey's first big break (and a lead role!) and it's like he's done this for decades. He's now my favorite king of period drama, together with queen India 😍looking forward to see them more on screen
Someone said it's because he went to RADA (the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art). People always say if you want a good actor/actress, drama school graduates are always the best.
Everything I find out about Tom Verica and his every decision just proves what a great director he is. And it shows in the exceptional quality of the final product.
This is my new favourite season! I adored Charlotte and George and my heart broke for them. But considering the circumstances it's still amazing that they managed to achieve such a deep love for however long. These two were absolutely brilliant.
I literally finished the whole season in one sitting. It was THAT good. Their chemistry is undeniable. I personally think this season is much better than season 2 🫢 the storyline and all of the casts are top notch. Is this the first time Corey acting? Wow my mind is blown. His acting is so good. Well done.
You could just close your eyes and they still sound like they’re recording a scene LOL. I just love these two together. They could not have done any better with the casting of George and Charlotte. India took her personality to the set and was practically herself as Charlotte.
Can I say that it is something truly special and beautiful that young black girls can watch a series - so eloquently written and played - where the queen looks like them, regal and charming, the leading role, and with what presence. really a gift to our subconscious, for everyone, all the audience.
These two made the Bridgerton couples look really bad acting wise 😂 India and Corey were so genuine that they sucked me into their journey and what a journey it was.
nah Phoebe Dynevor from s1 could never look bad because she was amazing, especially with her expressions. But I agree about the rest. QC had amazing leads.
That whole scene had me in love and then after they got married TORE ME APART! I was so frustrated and angry with George. Then they made me fall in love with him again and Charlotte was so patient and understanding....such a beautiful season!
Yep, when he dropped her off at her mansion on their honeymoon and said he wasn't going to be there. I immediately said, "I don't like him." I made up all kind of nonsensical lies about why he was acting that way. Then later on I'm like, "I didn't know." I felt so sorry for him. The character really did love her and went through alot to try to make himself better so they could be together. It's something though b/c this story reminds me of Beauty and the Beast and of course Queen Charlotte is Belle.
Beautiful story, yet so heartbreaking for both individuals! The world of medicine has come such a long way! Yet there’s so much room for improvement! Sad story indeed!
Masterpiece this season, truly, lighting, framing, editing, music, writing (with great rhythm, Shonda Rymes is a queen, herself)...and phenomenal performances. The queen was so charismatic and majestic, and the king so moving and charming...they both seamlessly captivated us, and were so real. I am really moved, and I cried my heart out. True love when played authentically is a work of Art. British actors really are no joke. ... This was so so beautiful, so brilliantly thought out, deeper even than all other seasons, memorable. Congratulations, the two very handsome Queen and King have true substance and presence on screen, wow.
Omg I am speechless. Everything, absolutely everything about this season is so touching and perfect. I am in love. Definitely watching over again. I can go on and on. I'm just left in tears really. Genius work 🎉🎉
I wish I could watch that season for the first time again, it was truly beautiful and easily the best out of them all. I still cry every time at the end
I’m rewatching the whole series right now. I live in Pennsylvania and the air quality is so bad that I can’t go outside. Thankfully I have Queen Charlotte to pass the time!
They are both so great in that scene where they meet. It might be top 3 favorite scenes of the series. The acting is so natural but lively. You could tell India WAS Charlotte at that point and the way Corey Mylchreest toys with her a bit in the scene is brilliant.
I love them 😭 I was always a George III fangirl but this hit me so hard! His struggle and her struggle... And the way their relationship progressed. Every character was relatable and likable without being some flawless bore. This is the best out of all the seasons for me, no joke. Miss Shonda, work your magic and get the next spin-off greenlit asap! I saw all the set-up you did and I'm all in! They worked so hard for an heir after all 😉
Corey Mylchreest..he was brilliant in this!!! When I tell you he is my new favorite actor, that's what I mean. He seems so lovely❤. Doesn't hurt that he is easy on the eye ❤
Indeed it is a really special scene. One of my fav, always makes me smile whenever we I re-watch it. Subtle emotions yet still gives you a fluttery feelings. This is definitely a definition of a Meet-Cute!
It was a good idea to leave their meet cute for later because by the time they shot it, they were already friends There's already chemistry that would show up well on the screen And they already understand how their characters felt in that moment- works esp well for George (Corey), because we know what the character was going through leading up to this moment.
This was soooo good. I couldn't get into the other seasons of Bridgerton so someone suggested this and WOW!!!! This was fantastic! I need more Charlotte and George. The chemistry between the two is off the charts and Corey??? OMG, he's a star
corey’s acting was incredible and i didn’t realize after i discovered from wikipedia that he is a newcomer actor. i thought his face is kinda similar with another british actor, Sam Claffin. i thought he was him. 😂
This season had no right to be this good.
They really outdid themselves with this series.
No right to be 6 episodes no right to end
The stupidest of the stupidest of them all 😂
You’re the stupidest RUclipsr

I love this series. But 6 episodes is just not enough. More Charlotte and George please!

Exactly! I was shocked it was only 6 episodes
Right when I finished the sixth episode and Netflix told me that that was it I was devastated! Not to mention we don’t know what happened to reynolds
I am happy with those six episodes, enough to learn about the couple's love story, without unnecessary fillers. ❤❤

Yea both of them were great
I just love Corey on the whole ❤wow
The under the bed scene and Brimsley's dance in the final episode tore my heart into pieces :(
