As a mom of two who is from Ireland but living in the US, please stay near family. If I wasn’t close to my husbands family to get help and assistance on the bad days I would literally be in a psych unit by now lol. Use all the help you can get.

I also STRONGLY agree with this as a Mum of 2 and Grandmother to 5 so far, it is hugely beneficial to be close to family in the first six months of new born babies lives, especially for 1st time parents of twins.

As a twin mom 3 years in, I can say that I would’ve not survived if I was not close to our family. We HAD to use them so often that first year and still rely on them a lot.
19:56 as a mother of three, two of which were more at the end of November and the bevy of December. DO THE LIGHTS AT THE LA HOUSE. It will boost your mood and you’ll have great first Christmas memories!! Whether you vlog or not, make the memories for You. Having newborns around Christmas makes it SO magical. Regardless of the sleep deprivation. 🖤🖤🖤🖤

Coming from a 3 time mom, don’t stress yourself over the nursery! Give yourself grace and time if it isn’t 100% done that’s fine! Those babies are going to need to be within arms reach for a long long time! Just love on them and sleep when you can! Parenting is hard but so so worth it!
I love you guys so much. It kills me to see folks dog you two about your parenting before you’ve even brought your babies home! The clip that has caught people’s attention, (about showing the kiddies in vlogs) has me feeling like, why can’t you show folks how happy, Healthy and beautiful they are and leave it at that? I hope when you do that, and don’t “use them for content” like I’ve heard some say..that those people actually acknowledge that. The cake shop prob starts their day at 3am to make all the amazing creations, so closing at 1 or 2pm is still likely a 12 hour day❤
yes!! a lot of bakeries sell out fast which is also part of the reason they close early
Yes. I worked at a bakery for many years and some of the bakers did come in very early to start baking cake and bread etc. Also, I'm thinking that it is quite possible that this bakery opts to keep these hours in part because they probably are careful to not bake/make too much product each day. There is not much point in staying open into the late afternoon or early evening if you don't have a lot of product left to sell. Most customers want freshly baked bakery items. While this is totally understandable, it also puts some pressure on bakeries to correctly guesstimate how much product they need to make each day so as to hopefully not have a bunch of product left over at the end of the day.

Yes and that’s also why this bakery is closed at the beginning of the week (like many do). This one is closed Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday then is open the rest of the week from 8-2PM.

A "poulette" is a cute word for a chicken in French :) We call chickens "poules" so "poulette" means "little chicken". We also use "poulette" as a cute word for a girl. So I think it fits perfectly the mood of the bakery ! Also edit : a kouing amann is a specialty from Brittany made from A LOT of butter and a LOT of sugar. (Kouing means cake and amann means butter in old Breton). Love from France !
I thought poulette (f) & poulet (m) were just chicken in french. Maybe it's different in Parisian french than it is in Canadian French? Love from Canada ❤🇨🇦
Haha it’s weird ! Cause we use « poule » for females and « coq » for males but if you say « poulet » it means chicken meat (cooked or not), not the alive animal 🤣
@@lisag7993 maybe I'm getting confused between dead and live animals. I am definitely not fluent in French. I live in British Columbia & Quebec is half the country away. Most of the time when I see anything written about chicken in french it is about meat. All our products in canada have both English and French writing on them. So I could be completely wrong about things. I only speak a VERY small amount of french. Lol

One of my neighbours has that huge 12ft skeleton I'm their yard and they bring it out every year. My 3 year old LIVES FOR IT it's her favorite thing on the block and she is so excited to see it every year. I def think it'll be worth it to add to your collection

My 13 y/o and I tried for three years to get one of those big skeletons. This year we started looking in every Home Depot in the DC, Virginia, & Maryland area starting at the end of august, and finally nabbed one (with the chest lighting kit). It IS aggressively big. And we DO live in the city in DC with a postage stamp sized front yard, but we don’t care - we love him. His name is Jamison and our neighborhood stops to take photos with him (and his skeleton framily & skeleton pets that are doing something new daily). Tip: Home Depot releases its new Halloween collection for a very brief amount of time in June, and you can buy that stuff online (its the only time you can purchase the 12 ft skeleton online - they only stock them in store at the end of august/beginning of September) and be ahead of the game. A HD employee told me after seeing me and my child in the store daily before we finally found, and adopted, Jamison.
