There’s no chance he would’ve been able to take that and not get hurt without blocking it. Drew either decided to just take it himself or Punk and Drew decided amongst themselves to do it this way which I think is more likely cause Punk hitting him that hard and Drew conveniently trying not to block it seems too convenient to just call a botch.
