@@GSUbassdad why is this dumb? I'm not paying for city water with a well and I have plants in the ground. My property in the city has expensive water bills. I appreciate your comment!
@@slamrock17because this video is about drought and the way it affects honeybees. It’s not about well water, city water or the prices associated with it. That’s why it’s dumb. 😢
@@GSUbassdad You are so interesting I like your point of view. I would like to ask you another question! How would you feel if you didn't eat breakfast yesterday?
Here’s a question you’ve got a batch of fresh queens coming ,you’ve done your splits ,taken them to another yard waiting for queens to arrive ,same week - the question if you’ve picked an old queen while splitting ,do you take her out and back to her original colony and put fresh queen in ? Or leave her there take fresh queen to her old colony
Around my garden, I keep flower pot saucers with clean water and have 3-5 stones so the bees can land- they seem to like it
I use cork - as in wine bottle cork - just buy them - they float and the bees can land on it and drink / this works really well for me
This drought needs to end. Glad I have a well.
Good for you. To be honest, that’s one of the dumbest comments I’ve seen. Think about it…

@@slamrock17 I don’t eat breakfast, my man. I find that to be irrelevant as well
I put a chicken waterer next to my hives with grass in it and the bees would rather travel to my chicken coop and drink their water😂

I have a pond with plants in it, the bees often are on the plants taking a drink, they dont touch my birdbath
When making sugar syrup, how does it need to be stored, and how long is it good for
Fat the bee man used to say to put water in the feeders.
Would that be alright, anybody? Maybe with a bit of salt it won't go bad.
David Burns just did a vid on this a few weeks ago. I can’t remember if he added anything to the water sorry but maybe you can find the vid.
Man made droughts again and it’s on purpose to 😮😢
