You know, over the years, more of the BLM land is slowly being blocked off and restricted. More and more small roads and trails getting blocked off. Yet the rich are somehow able to buy lots and build homes there.
It's a very dry forested area with 100 degree days and no rain. It's always been a tinder box up through there, was just a matter of time before it burned and when it did it was going to be very hot. Can't believe there are people who think forest fires are mysterious.
They need to arrest the head of NM forestry Ms. Laura McCarthy! She had No trained forest fire quick response fire suppression teams!!!!! Could have stopped this in the beginning but no!! The PhD let it burn! Now two citizens dead and billions in damages! The biiiiitch needs to be arrested for murder!!!

bastrop texas had this happen in 2011. all anyone could do was run. 40 mph winds and fire are devestating. prayer for all from texas.
