- Film critic Richard Roeper reviews the re-release of James Cameron's Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D starring: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton and Edward Furlong. Why Roeper says you should go see the 1991 film in 2017.
Finally, someone on RUclips who reviewed T2 3D, thank you Richard
Why Linda Hamilton never received an award nomination for her role as Sarah Connor in this film is beyond me... She really is the heart and soul of T2.
Taj Campbell Every part of T2 is the heart and soul of T2. Arnie, Robert Patrick etc.
southlondon86 I totally agree with you. But I'm just saying from a character-driven perspective, Linda Hamilton's Sarah Connor really drives the film and hits all the emotional beats, for me (as does Arnold's T-800 and his dynamic with Edward Furlong).
I've been saying for years Linda Hamilton should have been nominated in T2. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that. Also, it was great to hear Roeper say it as well.
Keep reviewing Richard. You and Roger got me into loving movies.
I like how they replace the stuntmen's faces with the actor's.
Noticed that with the motorcycle jump
Great to see You Richard. Found out today about this 3D business from my 21 year old son who's been fascinated with The Terminator since he was 2.
One of the best action movies of ALL TIME. The serious tone gave the action scenes real weight.
They should re-release more old classics like T2 in theaters. No 3D or special gimmicks necessary, just put them in theaters again. It'll certainly be more profitable than more terrible remakes and reboots.
lol not more profitable... you high?
T2. First time i ever saw a movie in 3D. It was cool for the first 10 minutes and then my eyes just sort of adjusted to it. Bit of a gimmick really. 2D all the way. I liked how they cleaned the picture up though and was awesome to see it on the big screen.
Absolutely loved it. Was only 5 years old when it came out, so seeing it on the big screen is well worth it. If you're a fan, gooo!
Damn I will actually go see this. Wasn't planning to but I haven't fully watched this in probably 15 years so why not revisit it if its done well
Is terminator 2 the baddest movie ever made?? SHO- NUFFF!!!!!
It is, I saw it last week. Great 3D with nothing gimmicky (if only all the post conversions looked this good) and like Roeper said, it still holds up.
I haven't seen it yet, but I might sit down and watch this movie sometime.
EDP2000 It's amazing. Haven't seen it in 3D, but it's just fine in 2D.
you got to see it man it was awesome! the opening scene blew me away.
You have to.
you are a fool
EDP2000 i wish i could erase my 67 vhs and 23 dvd sessions.
This is seems to be so haphazardly put together, an A+ appears after you say four stars.
..James Cameron is a genius.. Titanic, ALIENS, the abyss, Terminator, T-2, strange days, Avatar.. and he also produce Rambo first blood Part II, and Point break
Sorry I missed this!
Best sequel of all time is : The Empire strikes Back!!
Oh man. What happened to roeper? He really let himself go.
You really let yourself go mentally, if that's all you're getting and focusing on from this video.
HELL NO!!!
Wtf is that cop?
Good review, far better spoken then the other review for the 3D release of T2 on here.
audio to low.
I didn't think the 3D was worth a damn
I m going to watch it at list twice more.
Is it even possible for a review to be any thinner?
No, the first movie is STILL way better than T2. T2 is good, I love T2, but to say it is better than T1.... HELL NO.
They're both great, but Schwarzenegger really shines in T2. He's just a total badass!
No, I am not.
I think the first movie is better, mostly because it had a darker feel to it. Plus I enjoyed the many future war scenes in the first film. I want to SEE that future war, not the shitty Sunshine and Rainbow version of future war McG gave us in Salvation. I want the gritty one that the first movie showed us.
It's just like Alien, I love the first movie more than the sequel Aliens, mostly because of the ship and wanting to know more about that ship, and the dead Space Jockey (pity Ridley Scott has fucked that up with his bullshit prequel films).
Jon54605 I know, right? Even the smell of shit is better! They should've made T1 more like Genysis and then it would've been a masterpiece.
You're wrong. More power to ya for liking T1 more.
Terminator 2 is Awesome film.
