I couldn’t finish the movie. No one can be Lisbeth like Noomi Rapace. I just couldn’t get over how she held her cigarettes...like she never held one before! Lisbeth is a hard, kick ass woman. Ms. Foy is delicate...and was great in the crown...but this was disappointing. I also loathe the way Hollywood has to make Bloomquist and his editor like, 20 years younger than the original! Thank you Hollywood for always lowering the bar on reality. If you know how to read.....then watch the original Swedish trilogy.....that’s the ticket.

Best advice is search for the Swedish language version and get ready to read he subtitles, those movies just nail the entire story from start to finish.

I absolutely hated this actress as Lisbeth Salander. She felt like a teenager trying to be an edgy, rebellious try hard... not the damaged, brilliant woman that both Mara and Rapace were able to bring to the screen. This actress showed way too much emotion and humanism in her expressions and actions. It's not the actresses fault 100%, it's also because David Fincher didn't make this film. Doesn't feel anything like a sequel to the first film and it's world apart from Finchers vision as a director. It's also a disaster that Trish Summerville didn't work on this film too.
I enjoyed the series until Stieg died - tried to read Spider's Web and dropped it the moment Lisander did her first superhero scene (dive-tackle the kid out of the way) it was too much - obviously a grab at the movie script but not true to the original character

A simply awful movie and a complete waste of an extraordinary actress, Claire Foy. There is one scene near the end of the movie where she is actually allowed to act, and that is it. I'd give this film a NEGATIVE five stars if I could.
This movie was a total waste of Claire Foy's acting ability, as most of the time her character hardly shows any emotion at all. And did you know, hackers have the magical ability to do almost anything with their skills? This is one of those movies where the filmmakers seemingly had everything they needed to make a great movie, and instead created an utter piece of crap. Find something else to do with your time, don't waste it on this junk.
