I concur, you'll love it. Finally someone who actually gets most of the jokes, yay! Ditto for Valhallelujah, if you know a little bit of nordic mythology.
Like some people says, the guy in the photo is Vark Vikernes the funny thing is beside the fact he is a famous musician he burn out three churches one of them they name it in the intro, the Fantoft church and his band parter (Euronymus) was famous for profane tombs and both are Norwegian.
Fantastic, I love Nanowar and loved your reaction! If you want to laugh more with them I suggest you "Valhalleluja"! Or if you want some fantastic progressive metal I suggest you Ayreon's Everybody Dies, live version
The tribute to Zombies (Cranberries) Is not accidental. Look for the differences in the three choruses when the Song said "desecrate the grave, to the rhythm of the rumba". 1st chorus whole girls except main dancer are static like death bodies. 2nd chorus girls are moving likes zombies, pushing away guys. 3rd chorus begins with the "dark ritual" burning Varg. Then girls start dancing reggaeton as zombies with reggaeton in the head.
Nanowar of Steel is an Italian band. Their name is a play on Manowar's name. I recently discovered them and I really like their music. My 3 favorite songs from them are Valhallaluja, Reggaeton and Uranus.
Only two small clarifications on the text: una vida loca a mirar la foca, the word foca in Italian with a vowel substitution becomes "fica" a vulgar way to indicate the female genital organ; asando un salmon should be understood as putting the fish in cooking, that is, having sexual intercourse.
and THAT's what I call a proper reaction :) sorry, but most Americans just stare without a clue, not to mention that some of them thought Spanish was German
Great reaction, I enjoyed it very much! You sould take a look into Acapella Science, perhaps "The molecular shape of you" or "Nanobot". Or, if you feel more like laughing than science, maybe Weird Al?
Nanowar of Steel is an amateur metal parody band out of Rome, Italy. Most of their stuff isn't in English, which should come as no surprise. And even the ones that are in English tend to have a lot of multi-lingual puns. I love their "Valhalleluja"; it's so much fun to watch reactors discovering it around Christmas time (since it really is a Christmas song, well, sort of).
Nanowar of Steel are great fun! You are right. And as it turns out they are very fine musicians! Love your reactions because you clearly enjoy music so much and, what is more, you understand a lot of the allusions and references so many reactors miss. I think you would appreciate another great one - Valhallelujah
Some other pointless italian easter eggs: - During the rap part at 4:47 and the instrumental at 5:49 you can hear a voice-chop, which it's a vocal sample from italian host Gerry Scotti saying "Dottor Scotti" from an italian rice commercial from the first '00s. - The fictional name "Bella Figheira" you noticed in the credis comes from an Italian comedy series based on "I Promessi Sposi" from the 90's where all Spanish characters (like don Rodrigo) where portraied like characters from a spanish soap opera. "Bella Figheira", which sounds like someone badly translated "hot chick" from italian to spanish, was the name of a character.
Great reaction thanks for it, and as a scientist you have to know that a member of the band is an astrophysicist, so you should also listen another (all) song(s) of this Italian band, the one particularry called "Uranus"😂
If you like comedy metal then you need to check out Alestorm. They are a pirate metal band and their videos are hilarious. Start out with the song Drink, then Shipwrecked, Alestorm and Fannybaus. You'll get a kick out of them.
As scientist you must do "Uranus" from them! You would enjoy It so much. Nice reaction 💪

indeed!
Finally a reaction where somebody understands both languages PLUS also the events and history!!! Love this! Thank you so much!
A great advantage for a scientist 🙂
@@karlojarahe's like the guitarist of nanowar of steel, polyglot with phd in astrophysics
Nanowar of Steel's bassist is a phd astrophysicist. The guy on the picture they burned is Varg Vikernes.
And the one they pull out is Daddy Yankee of 'Despacito' "fame" :)
I lost it at the burning of the picture of Varg. The whole idea of trading Varg for a generic Reggaeton guy is hilarious!
@@ECiriachiNo, the picture coming out of the fire is Daddy Yankee, one of the top Reggaeton performers.
@@vicserr1 correct.

Never noticed the difference, but I wondered what was the effect of the Ritual :)

IIRC, their name is also a reference to Rhapsody of Fire, another Italian metal band.

You know so much spanish. So let me tell you when the music kicks in. "Hvis lyset tar oss" means"If the light would take us"
