SM64 Bowser in the Fire Sea RTA PU Strat First Try

Next step is to try and go and get it in single star.
After recieving my new video capture card from Hermes along with some crumbs of eaten food, I thought I would try some practice and attempts with no numbers for the Bowser in the Fire Sea PU strat and after I took out my Everdrive and popped in my PAL SM64 cart uh this was my first attempt.
The ceiling BLJs can be miscounted so what I found to be helpful is to fix the camera once it goes through the second level and that allows you to watch Mario doing his BLJs. Once you see his animations change, that signifies that he has stopped doing ceiling BLJs and has started doing out of bounds BLJs. At this side on camera angle the normal strategy is to turn the camera so it faces towards the Bowser Warp and then perform the overflow jump but the issue is that the control stick inputs are very tight and the C button inputs are very specific. I have only been able to really practice that on emulator which is an issue since I only have access to a keyboard there. On console, it is very time consuming to practice the movement because if you don't do it correct, Mario moves into a PU along with the camera causing a crash. The movement I do is much more reliable in comparison. I just switch from right notch to left (with a pause to be safe here) and do the overflow jump and I end with holding up and that happens to land me on the edge of the 3rd level and it isn't that precice, with the camera at the end of the PU movement, up on the control stick just happens to be almost cardinally aligned to the map. Ending from this side is slower however. The fastest movement I found from there was to go diagonally in the lava, land on the side of the platform leading up to the warp which happens to have a floor triangle instead of a wall triangle and jumpdive in but it loses about 20 frames to the normal strat.
