I wasn't sure...I personally was on the East coast and I don't Ian got to Cat-5, but there might be some aftermath of it becoming (satellite isnt always trustworthy)

technically analysis AT THE TIME said it reached sustained winds of 155 mph, but there was some aftermath that made a possible cat-5
