I love that the bright and bubbly character isn't afraid to push back when even her GIGANTIC well of patience runs dry. I think that Enid's declaration that she won't apologize for being herself earned more of Wednesday's respect.
At first, I wondered why Enid smiled after Wednesday said to her, 'ask again and you'll be down to eight lives,' but I think Enid knew that she needed Wednesday in this feisty mood to win the canoe race.
I can see them being an entertaining couple if the show goes in that route lol just gotta build up to it! XD
Their friendship evolution was the best 🥺🥺🥺
I love how they made for the first time, a vulnerable Wednesday. You can see how sad she was when Enid left and that confused her. She had never felt a connection with someone before and Enid pointed her out some things, like ask "Thing" for forgivness. She felt guilty for Eugene and Wednesday glared defiantly at the psycologist, when she said to her that a so called "evil" person like her doesn't visit a friend. She hurried to dry her tears when "Thing" was hurt and let herself being hugged for the first time, not to mention than she was the one who embraced Enid and close her eyes, maybe in relief. Wednesday is not scared of monsters, is scared of her own heart and emotions because she doesn't know EXACTLY how to handle them. Look at the shift in her eyes when someone is screaming at her, you can't see that with Christina Ricci version, at least I didn't.
I really hope Enid and Wednesday don't become a couple. I think them being best friends is what makes their "roommates with contrasting personalities" dynamic shine the brightest.

I agree, but I also ship them. However, the show would never do the relationship justice if they got together, so I will leave that to fanfiction

True i love Enid but First of all the directors got Enid character kinda wrong because if Enid is truly a werewolf then she wouldn't have control of the animal side in her plus she would have the abilities that go along with it besides teeth and claws and superior strength she would have heightened senses such as sense of smell hearing and eyesight
Did you not watch the show? They said several times that she had yet to have her first actual transformation. Her only real ability was having sharp claws as a result. I wouldn't be surprised if the reason she didn't have heightened senses is because she needed to actually access them first, i.e. shift, to then be able to use them regularly. I'm sure we'll see this in season 2.
