New character design looks dope, but feels a bit uncomfortable (enough time passed to get attached to character model from previous videos, which i fell in love with at first glance). But hey, what one can do. Your project, your rules :) I'll just hope original model will make it's way back somehow... with the help of visual customisations for the body parts (if there will be any) or perhaps as a skin. Anyway, stoked to be here and watch you moving forward! Can't wait to see the final product. Best of luck to you and everybody who helps!

I don’t know why, but this project reminds me of the “GRIP” universe, it’s not particularly similar to "Rollcage", only in the setting of robotic-type humanoid characters. It would be interesting to know about the plot, if it's not a secret.
The new design isn't bad by any means but personally I like the original design better. Maybe you guys can get the fans involved by allowing us to vote on a few concept arts of the best Kato design or maybe give him different combat modes that'll make his mecha design transform for speedster, brawler, shooter, & guard mode etc.
