  • River dolphins are extraordinary. They are the apex predators in some of the world’s greatest river systems. 🌏
But we're losing them. River dolphin populations have plummeted by 73% since the 1980s.

Every single creature or plant lost into extinction is a massive and tragic loss. Still so much left to learn from the many branches of evolution. Also they’re mammals like us right. Dolphins of all kinds share a strange bond with humans. They are like friends from the oceans, and in this case river.

I love river dolphins, I love dolphins in general, it breaks my heart to see them suffer like this, with nothing but ourselves to blame, but I am a firm believer in hope, I pray one day the population of these animals and every animal around the world will be protected, and thrive in their habitats and continue to play a vital role in their respective habitats, and again, I can hear the whole world saying “we’re in this together.”

These types of dolphins are my favorite animals, and I wish there was a way that I could help them directly, but don’t know how.Couldn’t we pay the people that live there to pick up the trash like other organizations do?Also if the dolphins source of food is decreasing what can we do to make it stop decreasing?

Man has nothing to say about how much he is suppressing his world, but to say that he is suppressing himself.
