This semester, we are releasing a series of videos, produced from our dorms, apartments, and homes, celebrating our graduating seniors! Recorded, filmed, mixed, and edited all on our own, we hope you enjoy these as much you love seeing us live. Our next senior sendoff goes to Ethan Penner! Ethan joined in Spring of 2018 and served as Social Media Coordinator, Community Service Chair, and our coveted “Ethan” position over his 7 semesters in the group. A talented tenor with a powerful voice, Ethan was known for performances on Classic and Sucker, harmonizing on Electric Love, and his gritty solo on Chainsmoking, which you can see right here! He further featured as a soloist and a harmonist during our first-ever competitive appearance at the 2020 ICCAs.
From attending every gig and social event, to generously hosting us at his family home multiple times over tour, to even jumping in car trunks for semester show skits, Ethan did countless things to make Note to Self a more fun and close-knit environment. His passionate performances and fun personality will be greatly missed in the group. Ethan graduated with a BS in Geology and we wish him the best of luck as he continues rocking on by pursuing his MS in Tectonic Geomorphology.
