- The LTD Black Metal Series is comparable in build quality to our LTD Deluxe “1000 Series” instruments, but with a dark and menacing design theme of all-black finish, components, and hardware, a single premium-quality bridge pickup, Macassar ebony fingerboards with no inlays and glow-in-the-dark side markers, and even a newly-designed black metal LTD logo on the headstock. With the LTD Phoenix Black Metal, you get a powerful extended-range version of the Phoenix with seven strings and 27” baritone scale. It features neck-thru-body construction using a three-piece mahogany neck and mahogany body wings. The outstanding tones on the Phoenix-7 Baritone Black Metal come from its Fishman Modern 7-String Humbucker pickup, with a push-pull control to select between its Modern Active and Modern Passive voicings. This guitar also features 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, LTD locking tuners, and a TonePros locking TOM bridge with string-thru-body.

Perfect example of why you only need one pickup. The new riffstick looks sick man. Great video!
The music you've written here for the demo is fantastic Bobby. Those tones coming from the quad cortex are savage. I'm a phoenix collector myself, I may need to get my hands on this 7 string baritone model, and add it to the collection. Thanks for the heavy riffs and inspiration. 🤘🤘
Thanks so much for the kind words! You absolutely need to add this beast to the arsenal
@@bobbylynge The riffs in this video are amazing.... Im considering this 7 string for my next guitar....
Thank you for showing the clean tones too. Very good demo!
You just fuckin blew my mind 🖤
I second that..... These riffs were beautiful and insane......
Awesome new demo and that hair! 🤘
Thank you sir!
Awesome..now another guitar on my radar..great video
Algorhythm just sent me to your artic metal video... And now you uploaded this yesterday lol! Sick riffs, same thing with the artic one
I appreciate the kind words! Thanks for checking out my videos!
Awesome video man and amazing playing
Where did you buy the guitar from ? And how long did it take to arrive after you ordered it
he is endorsed by esp
Bobby is the goat
I appreciate that Jayden!
@@bobbylynge of course bro! I really believe you’re one of the best out today, I take so much inspiration from you and incorporate it into my own playing. Stoked for the new ffak drop too! Much love man!🤘🏼
Damn..........🤯
If this guitar had a 28" scale and 24 ss frets it would be perfect
You sold me on this guitar 1000%
This is great
Thank you!
hey bro amazing work, is this shape have a problem with neck dive or not?
good song man and beautiful guitar. always had a thing for satin black finishes on guitar
Dude! Very nice!!! Can I ask what speakers u have in the omega? I have a 212 omega with the vm12-65s and it really has that cut throat mids I like. But man! Totally dig this song
I must subscribe!
What tuning does it come with? Also sick riffs!
B standard! Thank you!
@@bobbylynge Great, thanks!
Does this guitar have any neck dive? Sick demo btw 😊
I thought the beginning chords of the riff were the intro to bigger than I thought by Sean Curran😂
Found my next guitar, but now I also regret chopping all of my hair off lol
Have you tried playing this standing up? Asking because I am curious and really want one but I was wondering if it had any bad neck dive
This guitar in stock now? If not do you know when? Same goes for the Baritone Explorer-7.
Is this the same guitar I keep seeing in all of the new FFAK music videos?
Yes!
@@bobbylynge that's super cool! I love the new album, you guys really killed it!
well done sir im a new subscriber
Thank you and thank you for joining!
HARRRRRRRD❤
1:34 hyyype 👊
Man, I'm jealous. they aren't in stock in a lot of stores yet.
I also don’t have one yet. This was a loaner from ESP just before the NAMM show
@@bobbylynge gotcha! Is it as rad as it seems?
@@GearStuffandThings even better than it seems.
What tuning are you using?
❤
This and ex7 are no where to be found how did you get it ? Plus hope you'll make some playthrough with it without a mix! Cheers
I was fortunate enough to try it out for about a week prior to the NAMM show. I believe this currently the only one that exists in the u.s. but I could be wrong. The 2022 line should be ready early next year
Hey Bobby! How does the push/pull work on that Fishman? Is is switching between active/passive or is it a humbucker/single coil split?
Yo! Single coil split!
Active/Passive
What effects are you using at 1:07?
Does that 27 scale present more of a challenge in playability than a 25.5?
Personally, I didn't see too much difference. The main difference for me is that if in standard tuning (or close to it), the high e might feel a little tight and sound a little shrill/chimey compared to 25.5" or shorter.
I don’t have any phoenix model guitar and I wonnder are these comfy while sitting and playing?
Extremely comfortable
What case do you use for it?
demo track is great. is this screamo?
EXTREMELY SCREAMO
@@bobbylynge EXTREAMO!
No drop F stank?
No this time cowboy
Finally a video about this guitar! Is the pickup passive or active?
Considering it's a Fishman, it's probably active
@@minstrel9806 it’s both it switches
@@jratlo4420 not really, fishman pickups have a second voicing which makes them sound more similar to a passive pickup, but the pickup itself is still active
@@minstrel9806 oops
I wish they made this in a regular 25.5" with a trem with the 7 string
How did you get this guitar already?
This was the model that was at NAMM. I was lucky enough to borrow it for about a week prior to it NAMM show.
@@bobbylynge that’s awesome. I preordered one. Gotta wait until the end of December to get it. I’m stoked!
