- It has been a wild few months, but finally I have the new space set up enough that I can start making videos again. In this video we take a look at a the new "studio" corner, and the progress so far on the new shop space. It's going to take some work still to get it finished off, but I'm definitely looking forward to getting everything set up and ready to go.

Kept checking for something new regularly and it is good to see you back!
Moving is a pain especially when you have something going like you do with the guitar work and lets not forget the little one!
Just remember, family first, we can wait!
and llook forward to new things to come!
I wish it were the guitar work keeping me busy haha. I have a “desk job” that was absolutely crazy last year.
Glad you are back brother! Adulting is hard, I get where you have been, congrats on returning and thank you.

Looking good Brad! Moving is always a drag, but normally worth it.
It’s worth it, just tough to keep up with everything haha.
Welcome back Brad. Missed seeing your stuff.
Thank you Gary
Glad to see you're well. I was worried there for a minute. Lighting is far more important than tool proximity. Enjoy your new digs....
Thank you. I think this lighting setup should work out well.
Welcome back Brad. Good to see you
Thank you Steve

I know it's cold here in Michigan when I drool over the shop heating system. Hey, you're lookin' pretty buff for havin' had a baby, aye?...🤣 Great to see you back!
Haha I wish. The camera adds 10 lbs, and I’ve already got plenty haha.
Brad, glad your back.
Thank you
Good to see ya back mate and life gets in the way of fun stuff!
It certainly does haha.
Congrats on the space
Thanks Richie
Missed you Brother, I'm still fighting for my 1000, and building Plasticasters!
Keep up the good fight
Still good looking!
Even with the stress glitter… haha
Was wondering where you were Brad, good to see you back! Cheers from Tassie.
Thanks. Good to be back.
Welcome back man. Can't wait to see what you do once you're set up.
Thanks Ben. I’m looking forward to having everything where it should be haha.
Looks good! Looking forward to more vids.
Thank you!
Good to see you back Brad. Looks like a lot of work still to do man, lol.
Haha yeah, a ton.
Hey Brad. Glad you’re back. Your office and shop look great. I’m a big fan of lots of lights. My basement and garage are so well lit I have doctors wanting to rent it out for surgery. Looking forward to some painting and building by you!
Haha nice. Maybe I should paint the garage OR white
@@BradAngove your garage will slowly get painted as you spray multiple guitars. If you paint it go with a color shift.🤣
Can't wait for the new content, I feel the pain of moving in the last year have moved 3 times 2000 miles each time and still have to go back to the east coast and get my guitar finish stuff and the electronics for that 3 pickup LP you have the guitar to
Three times? Wow that’s wild.
Looks good. Lets get some projects going.
Indeed
@@BradAngove hey just an idea but how bout a relic job? Id like to see your take on one. 👍
I’ve done a couple. I’m sure there will be more haha.
Good to see you man!
Thanks Kenny!
Good to see you again, Brad! I understand "life" getting in the way and I know that's never bad thing when "life" is your family which is always more important! God bless you and your family!
Thanks Bob. I appreciate it.
Welcome back Brad.
I'd been wondering why I hadn't seen anything in a while.
While having to buy a new camera etc, then finding your original kit is annoying, it does give you the opportunity to experiment with dual cameras, or at least cutting down on having to stop and reset.
All the best for you and the family.
Thanks Frankie. I am hoping it will help make filming more smooth.
Glad you have continued.
Best of all things with young offspring.
Stay safe and warm.
Thank you
Welcome back man.
Thank you
Congrats on the baby, the new shop, and everything else .
Should be a good space for creativity.
I think you said that box contains items from starbond, i just wanted to mention how happy i am to find their ca glue and accelerator being sold at Home Depot in canada.
I bought some at lowes in NY state, and it turns out it's cheaper here. When you do the math. All the best.
That’s great to hear. They make great stuff.
Welcome back to the party man!
Thanks man
Been missing you, dude.
Sorry I’ve been away so long.
Lighting is good, sound is good, heater is not too loud. Nice looking space. Can't wait until I get a space to work in! Are you going to have a paint area at home or continue painting in the shop?
For the most part I’ll continue painting in the shop. I’ll be able to do some of the hand finishes at home even in the winter now though. That will be nice.
Hi Brad. Nice setup! I have been experimenting with refinishing projects while you have been away and found that nitrocellulose lacquer clear coat (Mohawk brand) can go over the top of acrylic enamel (Rust-Oleum). No adverse reactions so far and it has been several months. The nitro clear coat feels nicer and is not sticky like the enamel clear usually turns out. Rust-Oleum has a wide variety of colors so that's why i use it and the Mohawk clear is really good quality as you know. Just thought I'd share for future reference. I'll be trying the same with acrylic lacquer (duplicolor) soon.
Thank you. I’ve had success with that combination as well, but I’ve found you have to put the Mohawk on very lightly at first.
Bradley
Ha ha stress factor or stress points 1 to 10 @ say 11 ?
Good to see you my Canadian laughing
Happy new year pappy
11 sounds about right. Note the additional grey hair…
Glad to see you back.Looking forward to the new videos in the new place. Can you use Mohawk sanding sealer before using Oxford vintage nitro?Or do I have to buy Oxford sander sealer? Thanx for your time.
Yes, you can combine those. Thank you.
👍
👍👍 … nice … 👍👍
Cheers
Good show ole buddy. I think you deserve a Coors Lite 😂
Oh no, what did I do to deserve that…
@@BradAngove , everyone from the Authoritarian government to the north deserves one. Tucker Carlson is up there today trying to set you free! 🤔😂
@kmichaelp4508 good luck to him
@@BradAngove yeah 🤯 you guys need it as much as we do
@@BradAngove , I don’t know if you have seen the video but on January 6 it was discovered 2 pipe bombs at DC. Video shows our government had them planted
Otter disarray, for sure. That bench needs a built-in refrigerator filled with Molson Golden.
Fear not, I have an old fridge in the garage!
A one year old already. You’ll have somebody to sand for you soon 😂
Can’t wait to put her to work.
Thanks for the update and I also know the feeling with moving with a baby. The new space is always great when it is close to home 👍🏼. How is the law thing going?
The law thing is crazy busy as always. It makes for an interesting “balance” haha
@@BradAngove my wife is doing her masters in juries prudence and maybe she will go for her doctorate but she is into this law thing. She is my law nerd. Are u you in a firm already?
@sevenity2677 yeah I’ve been with the same firm since 2017.
@@BradAngove that’s great Mr Lawyer🤘🏼
Glad you’re doing well , I was wondering if you know of a good way to paint faux rust! looking to make custom pickup covers.
I have a video on doing that with spray cans I believe.
@@BradAngove oh cool I’ll try to search for it, thank you!
Where is the new cnc??
Which CNC?
I'm planning on moving with a 76 year old. Isn't that about the same thing?
I suspect, somehow, the 76 year old has accumulated even more stuff than the toddler (could be wrong on that though).
