Four insurrectionists and five police officers were killed, while 140 officers were assaulted. To date, 1,265 supporters of Trump have faced charges, with 213 admitting to felonies and 505 to misdemeanors. Sentences have varied from 2 to 22 years.
I’m an ex Democrat probably being in California and the craziness of this state. I am always looking for democrats who comport their conduct in a professional and effective manner. It seems that this committee, focused on the issues in the hearing conducted itself to its credit. We can always have disagreement on various issues but the attitudes of representatives on booth sides do good work when they stay on task, and conduct themselves in a non political mode.
