Reminds me of when one of our neighbours at our old house turned a garden hose onto another neighbour's party coz they were "too loud". It was just a family BBQ, they weren't being that noisy at all, and they'd even gone round in advance and advised everyone that there might be a bit of noise. Thing is, we knew what a party that was too loud was coz the neighbouring house on the other side had been turned into a backpacker's boarding house (along with about 3 other houses along the street), and they would have REALLY loud parties late at night that would just get crazy, my parents did have to call the property owner and the police on a number of occasions. That was one of the reasons we left, I remember one time my mum came home from shopping and told us that a few doors down some boarders were sitting on plastic garden chairs on the roof, and it wasn't a flat roof, it was a pitched roof. They'd balanced the chairs on the peak and were shouting insults at passersby and throwing slates down.
Well we sold the house to the guy who was buying up the street and turning them into boarding houses so I hope she's happy with her new neighbours. Maybe she's glad now that she didn't get to build a second storey on her house (thanks to her own stupidity) but that's another story.

This sounds like a great birthday, without the Karen. WAIT. OH NO! I hate watching people ruin other people's party or ruin a important thing or day for them. Does anyone know that feeling they get when they see something really embarrassing or frustrating happen to someone else? That feeling of guilt and anger? I’ve had this happen to me; my friends and I were out at dinner just talking and playing around with some toys we brought. The parents there were just moms (disclaimer a few of them have divorced) and this was at white spot a kid/family dinner spot. So we got our food continued to mess around a little and play we weren’t being loud at all, then this man from the booth around a little halfway yelled at us saying “be more quiet my mom and I are trying to enjoy dinner but you guys are being so loud” (something like that) so we called a waiter and the waiter said “if he does it again we will tell him to leave” so we carried on doing what we were doing not being loud at all the loudest thing we were doing was laughing. Then he did it again, so we told the waiter again so they told the man to exit the building, he didn’t so they had to get the manager, some other strong people to help physically escort this man out. P.S the police were called I think

At highschool on May 4th my friend brought his two lightsabers and since we were both guys, we fought with them. Because that's what guys do. Later another person joined and luckily one of the lightsabers was a dual but could be split in 2. That's one of the fondest memories of my friend I have in my brain full of junk.

Karen is definitely one of those people who would preach the “children are to be seen and not heard and to be fully obedient and silent and are to not have any fun and should be behind closed doors and pulled curtains” philosophy that was abided by back in the 19th century and 18th century. She’s definitely more stuck in the 19th century than the Amish are, in fact, comparing her to the Amish sounds like an insult to the Amish (no offense to the Amish btw), this old fashioned karen is actually stuck with a 18th century mindset thinking the 21st century should still be like the 18th century…
