I have Parasound amplifiers, myself. The "Loop Out" jacks are outputs that duplicate the input signal. This output signal is identical, to the input signal. This eliminates the need, for audio splitters. The only change is if the amp's balanced XLR input is used, the "Loop Out" converts it to an unbalanced RCA output. The "Loop Out" jacks can feed subwoofers, or alternatively, can be used for bi-amplification.
Over 3 years with my JC5 Now and it still amazes every single day no matter what material.... Sounds exceptional with my Audiovector R3 Arreté... a pairing that will likely stay with me for a very long time. Previous amps were A21 and A51 for over 14 years.... The JC5 is (for me) clearly another level.
@@chriss881000 It very well could have been a waste for you, but many that have upgraded and firmly say it was a clear upgrade. No one has mentioned it was twice the improvement, that is never to be expected in HiFi. I own the JC5 but I cant comment personally if its an upgrade since I never owned the A21+.
@@chriss881000 ok was just curious why it was more than the normal $6k in the USA. I’m surprised they charged you for sending a replacement unit. Sounds like a bad dealer as well.
JC5 in Mono Configuration are beasts. Paired with MCIntosh Tube pre-amp to deliver smooth power to your Full range speakers (not B&W please) like the new monsters in the block, Perlisten S7t THX Dominus certified. Now that would be heavenly in your future Home Theater Shane. You're going to need a soundproof room in a Single family home well away from your neighbors.
i get the fact that you might not feel the need to do a sound demo because it will not sound the way it would in person , but it would be nice to hear it anyway!
These are meaningless. You aren't hearing the gear and the room. It's like guaging the image quality of a video game by watching a low res video on RUclips, except its even worse than that. Completely useless.
Thank you for a very interesting video. I ordered my B&W 805 D4 in Walnut in September, and I am still waiting for delivery. I live in Europe. Have anyone heard anything about why it takes so long for production?
@@chriss881000 Everyone has their own point of diminishing return. For some its the a21+ for others its JC5. For me it was. JC5 competes with $10K amps and some more. In order to get a noticeable difference you have to get into the $15k range unless your going for a totally different sonic signature like a McIntosh or Tube vs SolidState etc..
Well they are definitely not cheap for the price point and they better sound good . 805 d3 s used to be 4500 and then price has jumped up to 8500$ for D4s .
Hi Shane, A nice unboxing. Could you do a Home Theater in your Unboxing Area, please. It would be interesting 🧐 to see how we could slightly imagine smaller room, Sir. Thanks again 👊🏽👊🏽🎭
I would get eventually get a dedicated 2ch Pre-amp/DAC better S/N ratio than a Marantz with XLR outputs. Marantz/Denon receivers wont be able to take full advantage of the JC5s low noise floor but its something to grow into for sure.

Interesting. I have a JC5 and might buy the 805d3 today. Glad I watched this first haha

Enjoyed the video. In the start of the video the boxes you were carrying were empty right ? These are heavy items !
Question, was that “Jerry“ the mouse I just saw run by on the floor at the 7:11min mark? Where is “Tom”? That setup should sound fantastic!!!
Lol I’m wondering the same…
Lol holy crap. He’s going to crawl in those ports and lay some nice mouse turds lmao
Those speakers look like Minions lol

Good things like 805D4 are worth waiting. Hope you are enjoying the spks.
What sound set up for movies do you recommend with a budget of around $1000?…..
Sir it seems like every week you get stronger and stronger you are like the Goku of HOME THEATRE lifting all those heavy boxes 🤣🤣🤣.
Shane got jokes with the boxes 😅🤣❤
So the elephant in the room is a mouse……
Parasound JC5 driving MAGNEPAN .7s with a pair of SVS SB-16 subwoofers.
Need to get a review on the paradigm founder series 😁
Hi, will you be doing any of the new Zappiti players review in the near future ?
I don’t know if the Jc5 is worth 2x the price of the A21+. They weigh the same but the jc5 has higher quality components on the inside
They dont weight the same, jc5 have an xtra 1.5kg or so. And no, its not worth 2x the price at all.

I want to know how one of those amps sounds connected to a Marantz 8015 and B&W speakers.
Not sure what Amp would be ideal to add to my set up.
