the best part of hearing people play boneworks is listening to their voice strain when climbing or pushing something heavy in the game despite those forces not being there in real life
@@supremestudios5667 quest 2 has a bigger resolution by a very large margin, is wireless and is actually quite close to valve indexes, also a sidenote is very close coming in at 120hz if you set it up in experimental features compared to the index. the controllers are amazing but not many games utilize its function which makes it "gimmicky" at most although a very fun usage of controllers can be frustrating from times when talked about from other reviewers talking about how you have a hard time getting to which finger motion does what in certain fast paced games as you cannot see the placements you must feel them, an interesting thing to get used to although a difficult task not an undoable one many people get past it, but when looking at the quest 2 or even any headset that isnt finger tracking and instead filled with buttons this problem becomes obsolete and is only a problem for index users, however i love both the index and the quest 2, i first got into oculus from the original so i still have it lying around i got the quest 2 because of the qualities i mentioned earlier (close refresh rate in experimental mode to index, much larger resolution for better looking games, controllers that have buttons, while i have time ill check to see if i can switch controllers to see if it works with index i have my doubts on it working but i still want to research online, oh and while im at it quest 2 also has portability, the more you move your sensors around you can potentially damage it by the motors simply jittering to much, the sensors themselves are designed for it to be in one place. what im intending for is to use my index for homeplay and then i can take my 2 wireless vrs for friends to try or play games on.
First time playing vr for me was when I bought myself a Quest 2 and ohhh my god it was a trip. I then proceeded to play around for hours in Pavlov Shack's shooting range.
Its amazing seeing node worked hard from 2017 i was there when that vid of boneworks came out i was like wow cool game i wanna see more they have grown man
It's impressive to see how much time and work they put into Boneworks since then. BW is my favorite VR game simply because you can feel the love and passion behind it. (Also it's groundbreaking gameplay) I can't wait to see what comes from Stess Level Zero in the future.
@@MeachPango not sure if this helps you, but i ordered mine september 30th and just got updated from 8+ weeks to 7 or more weeks yesterday. Canada, full kit.
Hey man, I'm using a 1080 and an i7 6700k with 16gb memory. I should really upgrade but it'll do for now :) ps. thank you, he now has vr and will starting making vr content!
Bro if i was the one showing him games i would've put walking dead saints and sinners and leave him like 10 hours in the game to fight zombies and shit himself

Holding your arms up to mime climbing gets a bit strenuous especially the repetition. Also it makes the roleplay more immersive.
Guilty of it 🤣🤣🤣
>Person gives an opportunity for another to try VR for the first time
>Trains him with aperture hand lab
>Throws him into boneworks
When videogames no longer evoke that sense of awe, it's awesome to see that again in VR. Thanks for sharing his experience.
This was so awesome to watch! I love it when people try out VR for the first time and now it's never been a better time to try!
I was so excited to give him a chance to try VR. Now he has one because of this! We should start making some VR content soon :)
I've been a Rift S user for most of this year, and i just paid for my index yesterday, can't wait for it.
It's a great investment for sure.
Worth it?
@@cat19649 Definitely wasn't for me. I've been wanting to sell it and get a Oculus Quest 2 ever since it arrived.
Why would you want quest 2 more than index?

I have a dream for making vr comedy videos, but the quest 2 isnt that good of a job for doing that, soon hope to get a valve
Best of luck to you and your dreams! Always keep pushing and never give up!
@@henrydotmp4 Thanks!
You should get a valve. They have improved it since then and it does not have many issues anymore.

Blood Trail.
what was the firs game he played? Kinda lookin' like Portal 2.
Aperture Hand Lab! It's a great intro to the index controllers!
@@henrydotmp4 I'll check it out as soon as I figure out the issues I'm having. Gray screens and all.
The reason it looks like portal 2 is because its in aperture where portal 2 is set.
U need more subs
People have no clue how amazing VR is. Coworker thinks VR looks terrible while being excited for ps5 graphics...
