Yesss! I just bought one today and found your video. Thanks for the tutorial. I now feel confident I can install this perfectly. I hate that liner clinging to me when I'm showering. Hate it!! UGH!
UGH…wish I watched you a few days ago!!! I wanted that extra room as it bugs me but not my husband (weirdo 😅?), that the shower lining/curtain wants to cling to me while showering. It’s so bothersome, that I must put a heavy bottle holding it in place on the edge of the shower. I need that extra 10 or 12?inches & bought a curved shower, brushed nickel & yes, I did buy a rust proof kind too. It just arrived here right now. This is why I wished I had seen your video, as I didn’t even think a curved rod could be a tension type kind and now we’re have to put drilled holes in our shower where there were none! Now, I’m thinking about sending back but that’s a pain too!🤪
I like how you installed the narrower part of the rod that extends, closest to the shower head. I did the same recently, thinking that the curtain rings will get hung up less on the where the 2 pieces of the rod are joined when opening and closing the curtain.
Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear that you appreciate the installation. If you have any more suggestions or feedback, feel free to share.
Thank You, Justin for this great video!. You did an excellent job showing a step by step installation. Can you tell me which shower rod you purchased? Thank You in advance.
You are very welcome, C B and thanks for your feedback. The Rod in reference is the Zenna Home NeverRust Rustproof Aluminum Tension Mount Curved Shower Rod, Chrome 50"-72". You can place your order here: amzn.to/3NA0RUR
I purchased a Moen but looks very similar to yours. If you should want to take this down is it easy to snap off the decorative caps in order to unscrew/loosen the rod to remove
I currently have a curved rod that is screwed in to the wall- just on the outside of the shower as it has glass tiles-purchased this rod so I could move the rod inside to decrease water on the floor. Unfortunately my shower is only 47" long and this rod is 50"- is there anyway to cut it so it would fit? Thanks for your video
couldnt for the life of me figure out how the fat rod attaches to the thinner rod, so it was always free to slide after about 2 hours i said f this pos and went and got a straight rod
For this shower rod Specifically, it can be installed by tension and screws. For your purpose, you can install via tension where it can be taken down rather easily by loosening the tension.
You have to buy shower curtain hooks that slip onto the rod. The curtain will hang from the hooks. That's what the sliding rings are on the rod he takes down at the beginning of the video.
You installed it wrong… the smooth side of the rod goes toward the shower head so you don’t have to fight the curtain rod every time you open and close it
It’s not wrong. I always enter the shower from the back (opposite end from the shower head) just like he did in the video at 4:21. So obviously you’d install it in the way it works for you.
I think he was asking about the part where you have to assemble the rod and tighten the screws on the rod. That was the part that was tripping me up. You just showed the install.
@@artgirlblue32 The main purpose of the video was to show how to install the product in your bathroom and not how to assemble it. Nonetheless, the Zenna Home NeverRust Curved Shower Rod comes with easy assemble instructions in the package.
This is a tension mount shower rod. There are literally no screws needed to install this type of rod. You just twist to tighten like he did in the video.
Hire an installer or a sub contractor.. first off drill some damn holes through the tile and mount proper . That curved rod will fall down just like a cheap Walmart straight rod . 😮 There are special tile ceramic drill bits that drill into tile ., and just do it right or hire someone that knows what they are doing. 😮 or dry wall anchors and screws if that is all.. is required. Jeez ,. 😮u tube boobz 😮
Damn, that's my exact shower rod. Mine fell down and I can't get it back up again so I'm definitely gonna follow this video later
😂that's why I'm here

Thanks! Useful video. It helped me out this morning as I changed shower rods.
You assume we know how the dam rod functions. You gotta go step by step.
Terrible tutorial
Thanks for your help, it was really useful,,😊😊😊😊😊.
You can't beat that deal of no drilling into the tile and wall !
It’s been mounted on the wall firmly for a while now with no problems but thanks for the feedback on this.

Very thoughtful and helpful. Thank you
You are very welcome!

Yes the curved shower rod is easy to uninstall. All you will need to do is to unscrew the connectors at each end show in the video at 2:10.

What brand is that rod?
couldnt for the life of me figure out how the fat rod attaches to the thinner rod, so it was always free to slide after about 2 hours i said f this pos and went and got a straight rod
Thanks for the video, I ordered one today. What type of curtain rings are those and where did you purchase them. Thanks!
These curtain rings are also Zenna Home NeverRust Aluminum rings purchased at Home Depot and you are very welcome!
Found them, thanks for the fast response. @@theshowerheadstore
What brand is that? I've been thinking about ordering one from Lowes called "Allen & Roth."
Don’t do it. The Allen + Roth one sucks.
Where does one purchase a rust proof curved rod like yours
Screw it in to the wall! After having a heavy tension rod land on my head that was ENOUGH for me!
I apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with these kinds of product. Thank you for your feedback.
What do I do if I use a curtain that the rod goes through? How do I take down the curtain to clean?
For this shower rod Specifically, it can be installed by tension and screws. For your purpose, you can install via tension where it can be taken down rather easily by loosening the tension.
How can I put the curtain on lol
You have to buy shower curtain hooks that slip onto the rod. The curtain will hang from the hooks. That's what the sliding rings are on the rod he takes down at the beginning of the video.
You installed it way to low ???, and didnt use screws , it will fall down soon ????
Thanks for your feedback on this, Tom, but its been mounted on the wall firmly for a while now with no problems.

I don’t know because this video just helped me install my rod . it’s probably because every rod is different…
@@missioncnacpr7904 You can follow the directions in the video for a perfect installation. let me know if it helps.

Take y 8 minutes to insamble that and the most important part off the screws y didn't show it 🥵
I am not sure I am understanding your concern here, Anna. Can you rephrase or give us a call at 854-888-9231 from 9Am to 5pm EST, please?

It's not incorrect.. people have their preferences hence, the company makes 2 options: tension and permanent
