I just installed the McLeod RST with only 300ish break in miles. Mine doesn't sound like that at all. Probably your pilot bearing. If you recently changed out your clutch did you reuse the stock pilot bearing?? Ford Racing has the high load pilot bearing that I installed in mine.
I had the pilot bearing and replaced it with the bushing that came with the clutch. I was suspecting the same as well. The up side can be changed without removing the clutch.
Yes, it was the Tilton throw out bearing. I called modern driveline about a warranty and they said it’s normal. The bearing is redistributing the grease and to drive it and it will go away. I found the same information on Tilton website. Fortunately it saved me from pulling and replacing. I have been driving it and yes it’s gone. I did do a quick video around it but haven’t posted.
@@CoyoteProductionsBoss302 Greet to hear and thanks for explaining the cause. I watched your recent upload, Mustang Car show and saw your Boss. I was like, “oh, he must have sorted out the drivetrain noise!” On a side note, as an owner of a ‘12 YB Boss 302, your content and uploads have been invaluable. Cheers.
@@dcpatters0yeah I have reached maximum burnout. It’s very hard to continue with good content. I appreciate your feedback and thank you for your support. More content will be around the side pipes. Things will be slow. I will be visiting the track to get a time.
@@CoyoteProductionsBoss302 I watched your recent video regarding the effort and time required for the content and totally understand. All the best. Hope from time to time you can keep us updated.
What you are hearing is a very common sound. There’s 4 cams , 32 valves, 32 roller lifters, 32 lashers, 4 chains. These cars make a little noise when idling. The video actually picks up different tones so in person the car sounds much different in person.
Hope everything works out . I love modifying cars. I just hate the disappointment when something goes wrong. That’s why I keep my LS stock
I totally agree! Thanks for your support.
I am thinking pilot bearing as well.
I started it today to do some more diagnostics and it was totally quiet. Go figure!
Did you use a McLeod slave cylinder or the OE ford one?
Tilton Racing adjustable

Did you manage to isolate the issue?

A/C clutch or possibly the compressor itself?
It’s quite up front checked with the stethoscope. Noise was coming from the bell housing.
Oh no! Hope everything works out.
Thanks, what the heck right! Came from nowhere.

@@CoyoteProductionsBoss302So you have turndowns and you're saying that your exhaust bouncing off the ground?
