"I'd like to see the good side, " someone said. "But this is the good side, people," AnneMarie explained. OMG I am going to use this as my new catch phrase to drive family and friends nuts. Thanks for all you do to operate your wonderful channel and teach us how to do great things.
♥♥♥
Im SO freaking EXCITED!!! I have been carrying my ugly scratched up acrylic backsplash around in my car for 4 months now trying to find something unusual to replace it with. I'm an artist and I taught myself resin over the past several years! It just hit me that this might work! Thanks so much for the great video! Im going to go for it!💙🩵💙🩵💙🩵💙🩵
That green one shines like crazy. 👍🏼
♥♥♥
Everyone seems to forget you are a very experienced artist. I love the fact you experiment! Keep doing it your way. Thank you for your time and sharing your knowledge.
LOL...I love to hear how other people do something....but... just telling me how to do it feels a little funny.
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
Annemarie I am new to this whole game but obsessed with your work. Thanks so much for sharing. Now my goal is to be as good as you!
I don`t want you to be as good as me....I want you to be better......go for it...♥♥♥
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
What a fun process to watch! I love how you do whatever you want, that is why so many of us love to watch and learn from you. Sooooo looking forward to the next layer or final layer, whichever is next! Yay, finally no belly buttons!!!!
hahaha♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
Love the green one! I've been watching everybody but I have a feeling I'm going to like you best. Just listening to you talk about layering and playing with it sounds just up my alley!
♥♥♥
The resin you were using today has such a pearlescence to it.
That green one that you sold came out fantastically! The buyer is going to be very happy when they receive it!
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥

I don't think anyone that has suggestions are trying to "Take Over" just help... why so angry Wanda??
Claudette McDermott, WHAT❓❓❓❓❓
Wanda Brawley, WELL SAID!!!
Watching you work really gets my mind turning over. I imagine what I would do the same and differently. I get so caught up in your process and start to feel personally invested. I'm constantly critiquing. Sometimes you take it in directions I would never consider and other times my mind goes in other directions and I wonder what effect those ideas would have. Sadly, I don't have the supplies and space to explore what you've inspired for myself but I'm still learning so much from you. I have so many plans.
I can understand how all the 'helpful' advice you're getting must end up feeling like an avalanche criticism, especially because people aren't always tactful in they way the express themselves. Please try and take comfort in the fact that most of them (like me) are probably just really invested in what you're doing and are simply trying to share where their thoughts have taken them.
I know I risk sounding like a fangirl here, but I'm thrilled when someone I admire takes up a suggestion I've made. It's as if, for a brief moment, I've got to be part of something greater. Perhaps others feel the same way. I know if a comment I'd made inspired you or you responded to it in a video, I'd boast about it to all my loved ones. I hope I haven't just made myself sound creepy here.😋Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is that you can look at people's suggestions as evidence of inspiration. Let's face it, if people were really only trying to say "you're doing it all wrong", they'd probably say it in a much more blunt manner.
As to all of my fellow fans, if you have a suggestion, why not try phrasing it as a question? "What would happen if.....?" Sounds a lot less like criticism than "You should try...."
cheers
Btw sorry for the long winded post, I tend to get a little carried away😜
It`s just that... when someone out of the blue say you don`t use enough resin..you stir it to fast...you look like you have no clue what your doing...just water and paint works why do you add PM...ect ect ect...it`s not trying to help...it`s saying I know it better than you do...so then I think make a RUclips channel and do your thing but don`t cramp my style. I experiment and test and try to find other ways to use the medium....only doing pretty pours all day every day isn`t something that gives me energy.
I really doubt you get to read all the comments...you would be amazed at what people write.
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
AnneMarie, I admire your passion for experimenting...it gives me courage to do the same. I am a newbie and awaiting supplies...You are an inspiration as a teacher...you go outside of the box which I love...I stand firmly behind you...I look forward to showing you my second pour...Many Blessings to you and all on here...
♥♥♥
You are doing your own thing and that's why we watch you! Experimenting is your middle name!~ I agree with Wanda! Go Annemarie!
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
Wanda, well said! I cant wait to see what's next on this resin piece! And Annemarie, as for 323, the piece is radiant, perfect, and beautiful. I know you said you did not like the shiny outcome of a resin finish over an acrylic pour - but I see it the same as any medium under glass. It perfectly protects a beautiful work of art for the future. I love it!
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
This is my first time checking out your channel. I enjoyed watching you experiment! You are a wonderful artist and I look forward to watching more of your videos!
Thank you sooooo much !!
♥♥♥
So fun to watch the process. Thank you.
♥ Thank you ♥

Hi Annemarie, I found a out a great tip if you get resin on your hands ! Just spare some cooking oil or any oil I suppose on you hands then wash them with dish washing liquid & water ,it come off ! 😁😉👍🏻love your work 💗
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
Thank you Annemarie, beautiful work.

When you were choosing the brown in the original pour, i was saying... it really needs a “green” 😀 so awesome you got the inspiration! Great video!
♥ Thank you Laurie ♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
Keep experimenting! You help so many of us wanna-bees! Keep talking - I like to hear what you're thinking!
♥ Thank you Mary and Thank you for watching ♥
Re painting 323 - I feel reasonably certain that the buyer will be delighted. ;D It came out beautifully!
btw - thank you VERY VERY much for demonstrating the sanding and re-coating technique - I think a lot of people facing this problem are going to bless you forever for sharing this rescue method! Anyone that hasn't given up on resin over silicone resist paintings entirely, that is! :D
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥
Sooo happy you forgot the brown. Sad it was wasted. But oh my! how beautiful.!
♥♥♥ a happy ,healthy and creative 2018 ♥♥♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
You just do you cause nobody else can!!!!! Its why we watch you!!! It feels as if you are going for texture and dimension... and from where I sit It seems to be so very much more interesting than just a flat surface... Experimentation is the name of your game xox
you are sooooooooo right...
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥

Hi! Annemarie! I'm new to this paint on the plexiglass thing but I love your works and your videos are so easy to understand! your techniques are probably the first thing I'm gonna try and experiment with. I'm rather curious tho on how you prepare your canvas?? Like how??
Edit: Looking for it in your channel rn
The canvases I buy are gessoed all I do is tighten the canvas with the little corner pegs that come with the canvas..you can see if your canvases are gessoed by looking at the back…then the front, if the front is white it’s already good to go.
This is absolutely gorgeous!!! I love the colors! I was interested in seeing the effect with the brown, I think you may have had something there! Ignore the creepers and trolls - you do you and yes, do what you feel like doing! OMG, the green ‘without belly buttons’ (lol) is amazing!!!!!
♥♥♥
That green one is a *BEAUTY* Annemarie! ♥ :)
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
Shazam! I love the added shine from the plexiglass.
♥♥♥ Thank you ♥♥♥

I love watching you experiment with pours in acrylic and now with resin. Keep up the great work.

what I love the most about what I am seeing is that I don’t have to be as artistic or as talented as you seem to be. By following your advice I’m sure I will be able to create something beautiful. I have to ask, what type of surface do you recommend for people doing resin art for the first time ?
I would 100% start on Glass... minimal 6 mm thick....very cheap and you can put it in your window and it looks amazing.
♥ Thank you ♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
That upper right corner just keeps drawing my eye. So pretty!
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥

Fabulous Annemarie!
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
So pretty Annemarie!!
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
Just curious as to why you made it on plexiglas if you're not flipping it?
Trying to learn as much as I ca before trying it myself. I'm happy to have found a new crafting thing I might be able to do. Carpel tunnel, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, I miss everything from sewing to refinishing furniture! This looks like a lot of fun for my creative side!
I was looking for something that doesn`t warp when it`s cured...this warpped....♥♥♥
It was just a suggestion to use more resin in your first layer, so you didn't need to fill holes.
I do understand what you are doing, and it is coming out beautiful,
There will be holes when using resi blast...and pouring in too much resin to start with will make the piece too thick.
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
It’s lovely, I’ll try it soon.
♥♥♥
Could you use acrylic paint pour instead of resin and do a few layers then just add the resin over lay
you can try doing it like that....♥♥♥
Ty for the Q&A. I was wondering the same thing. I've never worked with resin. Beautiful as usual Annemarie.
YES
Just a suggestion...use or not...heat gun might help to help with the resin it works in encaustic art! Love your work!
it`s too hot...
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
when filling in the holes... maybe it would help to NOT heat it? It seems like when the old resin is heated up, the resiblast comes back to the surface and keeps resisting, or maybe resists again? But however you do it, it's fun to see you experiment and have fun playing with it. That's how new effects are discovered! (and re-discovered) :D
you are right..experimenting is the fun part...not heating the holes will show the drips ...and it would be Obvious that it was filled in.
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
And thanks for Ich liebe euch alle, ich höre es so gern wie du es sagst.
Ok I won`t forget....
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥
Dont change anything we are growing together with this BLOODY resin. I have a love hate relationship with it mainly love with a touch of despair
me too...then I love it the next day I hate it...LOL
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
Looks awesome Annemarie, Wowsa!! Ya gotta give her a name!!!!!!
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
Have you named it yet???? Fossil Blues!!!!?????
Or maybe Ocean Fossil !!!????
Lovely...looks like a frozen waterfall shelf
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
why is it developing holes? Doesnt the liquid find its own level? Or is it because its thick. The colors are amazing. Great work.
Silicone and resin don't play well together 😀
beautiful piece
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
Beautiful! It's the colors of the ocean in the Bahamas.
♥ Thank you and ♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
Just found your chanel. Regarding painting 323 ... It’s gorgeous! Did you put a clear resin over it after you finished the acrylic?
I can`t remember if I did that....not in the video that`s for sure.
♥ Thank you ♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
Wondering what would happen if you use the air and the blow dryer at the same time???
♥♥♥ Thank you ♥♥♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
Have you tried this technique with transparent acrylics? IndigoBlu do them for pouring...
you are looking at a resin pour...yes I have used tranparent paints.
♥ Thank you ♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
Would you also pour on wood, like an cheeseboard? That's would be cool! 😍
No...doesn`t sound like something I would do...there are so many of them out there.
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
No problem at all, Annemarie 😁
I don't understand the thinking process in this. Why put holes in it with the blast only to spend such a long time on trying to fill it all back in? Btw, I did not like what the blast did at all! I think it totally ruins everything. But, I loved the colors you used and in the end (tho long) it was pretty. Also, Was it your first time using the blast maybe?
Sandra...you don`t need to understand what I am doing...I don`t understand myself half of the time....it`s art...experimenting is key.

can I ask you a question? On what stage you take tape off? It's usually hard to take off after
I sand it off if I can`t peel it off.
♥ Thank you ♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
Annemarie i agree with Wanda and Joice. LOL
Thank you ♥♥♥
that's cool..
thanks for your amazing videos..
would you please tell me how much do you get for a piece like this one..
just to imagine how much can I earn if I started production..
wow.... I had a little chuckle here When you said " start production " .....it`s like you want to make some bucks but not interested in the art... If you are well known you can ask 500-1000 $...good luck.
When you’re mixing up the resin, is there anything you mix with it ?
yes fluid acrylics for the colour.
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
Resin the same as epoxy glass?
I guess so
You need an airbrush! It has a more manageable airflow.... so you can move smaller parts and have more control of where you put the resin! You can run airbrushes without the paint in it.... so all you're blowing is air!

she does not need anything ,,she does what SHE wants to do ,,,
Angela Hyde I was answering her question when she said that the hairdryer was too powerfull and she was wondering what else she could use.... holy crap, don't jump down my throat!
Question: What size is this project? How much resin was used to make this project? What kind of tape is this? How thick did it end up being? I haven't done this before but I would love to. I had actually thought of this hair dryer thing for painting some floors. I was excited to see this. Thanks.
painters tape...pour on glass ...plexi glass warps...the resin is 1/4 inch thick...300-400 ML for a 40 cm x 30 cm

♥Thank you for watching ♥
What exactly is the tape you mentioned at the end. You put around the bottom of the frame?

Annemarie, I personally love your experimenting and all your "dinking around". LOL Don't mind the negative nincompoops out there in RUclips land. Unfortunately, they will always be around adding their two cents. As well as those that think things should only be done one certain way. "BAH!!", I say to them all, since they apparently have a limited imagination for creativity and ingenuity, such a pity. I mean really, if there was only one way to use resin (or other art mediums for that matter) then it simply would not work any other way, but it does! So keep on making the wonderful creations you do so well. 💙💜💚
Thank you for understanding...♥♥♥

hmmmm not sure what Wanda and some of the others are talking about as I'm watching your video now but it does make me hesitate to make any suggestions.... Do you want suggestions if someone has ideas to help you out with say, those holes you are filling? If not then please let us know, so we don't offend you and your viewing audience.
See it`s a whole other thing when someone says...my experience is ...when I do this or that it helps to bla bla bla.
I don`t need people tell me how to do my art...what I am doing on my channel is experimenting...trying new ways...approching it from another angle ...ect It`s the comments about me doing it wrong that I can do without.
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥
♥Thank you for watching ♥
well said Annemarie,,experiment is what we want ,,if it goes wrong it does not matter,,you experimenting helps us from not making the same mistake......keep experimenting,,love it love it
Ok.... you are not looking for suggestions. You just want to experiment and have everyone watch. Got it.
If I see holes and I don't want holes in my art, and someone tells you how to fix them or not get them in the first place, I'd love to hear that. I don't think its criticizing, its just an added tip that I like to hear.
Am I the only one that sees the resi blasted area as a centipede?
