My daughter in law has had chickens for a couple of years and I’ve never seen one of those in real life either. Thanks for sharing and hope y’all have a blessed day and weekend my friends.
We had this once, it’s crazy weird. I save all egg shells and bake low at 250 for and hour. Then put them in a food processor and sprinkle it over their food. Have a great day. Lisa
I've had that twice over the years... agreed with what you said. I already added oyster shells so I think it was just a fluke for us both times.. The duck however in your video seems to think its hilarious 😂
@@ANYFINISPOSSIBLE1977 this is the first time I have seen it since we started raising chickens in 2018. I do have a bunch of pullets just starting to lay so I'm hoping it is just a fluke. And I think the duck is laughing at me too 😂
Thank you for explaining about a shell-less egg. One of my girls layed one and I too was puzzled. We have had only gotten that one so far. No, we chose to not it either. Thank you again for the info.
They feel very funky - I reached in the nesting box and pulled my hand out instantly in disgust. Then I had to look at what was going on before I picked it up again. I had no clue at first that what I touched was an egg!
I saw this kinna egg once in my life, and my mom fried it, it was normal just without shell. Don't know the reason that time, probably hen wasn't eating normal calcium diet.
You need to get your chickens on some really good calcium protein because that's not good you get an egg bound chicken you can lose her and that's what happens when there's not a hard shell to push through they get cracked and left in the egg shoot and can't move it and it's a bad bad situation it's called egg bound get your hands-on some maringa is amazing and some really good high protein calcium foods greens. But important to get her extra protein. Blessings
Your hens need😮 emergency calcuim, next time you will not be lucky. They will get eggbound or when they try to lie egg it will break inside them and they would die This is my experience as chicken farmer please get your chickens a calcuim supplement at the vet
Thanks for sharing and education about these type of eggs. Wild stuff
It was definitely something weird that I had to research.
Thank you for sharing this dear friend ❤❤❤❤❤
