You’ve got a lot accomplished! Wow that wind is crazy! I’ve never heard of a jelly egg. It’s beautiful in MN. That’s a cool mechanism for planting.
Beautiful goats. ❤ Thanks for sharing what you do on your farm.

Hey there Katie and Nick! Doesn’t it feel great to clean up everything! We’re about to do a massive cleanup here! Wow! That’s a cool necklace and yes for cast iron pans! Jelly eggs can be caused by a lack of protein or calcium. Just feed them a higher protein feed and you can feed them some of their crumbled egg shells back to them. Our chickens love to get a few cans of tuna fish too. I hope that helps! 💖 Ohhhh! You can also feed them some cat food! It’s cheaper for sure! They love it! 🥰

That's what I was reading (about the calcium). Thank you for the advice!

No telling all the treasures you’ll find pretty cool finding the necklace. My dad use to dig in a local dump down in Key West Florida when I lived there as a kid. He dug up a bunch of old bottles that are worth a bunch of money. That wind was the craziest! Do you milk your goats? My daughter makes goat milk soap. Do you raise the goats for meat? I’ve never eaten goat. Have a great day. Lisa

We have eaten goat it is pretty dry so not something you fry more like slow roast. We've milked goats but no one really drinks the milk but me. My kids will drink it as a creamer. And The story goes that one of the previous owners of the property was the son of a man who owned a junkyard and he brought home whatever he liked.

I try, but it's hard. Maybe when work allows down in the winter I can make more on cooking and baking... Get ahead for the summer months when I'm so busy
