Incredible views of JFK and it's surrounds, filmed with clarity. Nicely done!
Love the growling sound of those beautiful Rolls Royce 777 engines!!!!😍😍😍❤️🤍💙 Music to my ears!! Also loved seeing all the details of the JFK taxiways & runways upon takeoff.
Thanks! Happy you enjoyed the video!
What a beautiful thrust reduction at 15:08 😭
True !
Cool footage of a super light GW take-off. Compared to how the Trent 800 usually growls on take-off, with such a massive derate, it was almost non-existent here.
yeah - it was short flight from JFK to MIA so pretty light on fuel
Wonderful video of AA 777 take off out of JFK, great views
Tresbeauxreportagehenri🎉😊😊
very beautiful video
Love the buzz saw noise Rolls Royce engines make.
That doesnt sound normal though.
Very nice vidéo 😊😊
The noise 🎧
Amazing video. Keep up the awesome job.
Thanks!
I have no words for how beautiful that roaring engine sounds!!

I always sit backwards on the BA aircraft when I can.
You can just smell the Jet A on this.
This is amazing, i thought these triple 7's only do international flights?
This particular flight was some time back, but airlines still do fly widebodies on domestic flights! Usually look for flights between an airline’s hubs. For example, delta frequently operates A350s on the ATL-LAX routes and 767s on their JFK-LAX routes; United operates 777s and 787s on flights involving Newark (EWR), SFO, LAX, Dulles (IAD), and O’Hare, although strangely I’ve seen Orlando-O’Hare on a 777. American may operate 777s and 787s between DFW, MIA, and JFK, although they’re a bit more variable
@@NDSAviation1Just to add to your list at the end there......I've also seen the American 777 fly from JFK to Phoenix Sky Harbor also.(thanks to the assistance of looking on Flight Radar 24).😃
Did you use any filters or effects while recording this on your iPhone?
I didn’t
What is that metal noise in the engine?
I’m a little confused by this - the engine is made of metal, so that’s just kind of what it sounds like…
love the 777 - been on many airlines 777's: AA UA CO CX BA EK - As an Aviation buff you may like my full Concorde video from. 2002! ruclips.net/video/H5I1Ub4sNW4/видео.html
I thought that the Boeing 777 used the GE90 engines exclusively...
On the 777-200LR/F and 777-300ER, it’s exclusively GE90. On the 777-200/200ER versions, there’s an option for GE90, PW4000, or Trent 800.
Air China 747 in the background.
Ok and?
Had to blow the dust off of this vid before uploading, lol.
I have a large backlog of videos I need to upload lol
its close to GE90
Is this plane alright? Doesnt sound right.
Not sure what you’re referring to. It may sound different than other Trent 800 videos because it was a very de-rated takeoff and climb thrust setting, likely from the light load that day. It’s totally normal though.
@@NDSAviation1that buzzing sound. To me, thats a sign of struggle. Is that so?
@@jaycris1980buzzing sound? Like during takeoff and climb? That’s very normal - that’s what jet engines sound like. Jet engines buzz because parts of the engine like the fan blades move faster than the speed of sound. It’s called the buzzsaw effect. It’s literally the sound of little sonic booms at these supersonic parts of the engine. You hear it more if you’re sitting in front of the engine; if you’re sitting behind the engine, the sound gets overpowered by the sound of the engine exhaust. You can hear what this engine sounds like when using a higher takeoff thrust setting:

Engine buzzsaws can sound different from engine to engine. This is what it sounds like on a GE90. It’s coarser and lower pitched than on the Trent 800:

Skip 13 minutes to get to the video
Without fail, a comment like this comes up, despite the fact that I place time stamps in every video to aid in navigation. I simply don’t understand why so many people don’t see the time stamps when RUclips automatically puts breaks in the video player according to the time stamps.
nah bro that's RR engines gotta appreciate every moment. Plus you can skip lol what's the big deal. oh wait you probably don't have youtube premium. ehh how many ads does this vid really have?
timestamps exist buddy
@@NDSAviation1well said! You tell him! 👏🏾
Never trust boeing fearful of airbus too given the current climate
Always one isn’t there. Give it a goddam rest!
Airbus is fine. Fly Boeing if you’re happy to die.
That would suck living in that neighborhood at the end of the runway. Jet noise morning, noon, and night.
Yeah - although, I actually live about 2 blocks from the end of the runway at a major Southwest Airlines hub. It can be annoying like if you’ve woken up early to use the bathroom and you’re trying to fall back asleep, but for the most part, you kind of get used to it. I hardly notice the noise anymore
This might be the P&W because RR growls
This is a Trent 800. American Airlines 777-200s only use Trent 800s. You can also tell because of the spiral in the spinner of the fan blades (PW uses a straight line, better known as the apostrophe design), and the straight engine pylon (PW has a more curved pylon).
Who makes the Trent? Never heard of it.
