It’s crazy how he was forced to apologize for something that he did not do, since the one who’s ruining hyunjin’s public life for attention or jealousy is the “victim”. They’re the bully, not hyunjin. And I don’t know why they were given this much power over hyunjin.

@@sofiarolfranco3381 JYP keeps making the boys apologize and write apology letters as soon as they are accused of anything, never having their back! Same as with Chan and his comment on Channie's Room!! It's infuriating. They do nothing wrong and have to apologize anyway, which in the end shows that the apologies mean nothing and are just forced by the company.
Because the entire industry is ridiculous. South Korea isn't the best place to be a celebrity. This is the same culture that encourages fan service but then destroys anyone if they are actually homosexual. I feel sorry for people who have to earn a living in that environment. @@ReynWalker11
mads makes an excellent observation which I completely agree with; hyunjin could have easily taken his aotm performance as an opportunity to show a softer side to sort of combat the rumours that had been going around about him throughout the year, to show 'no of *course* I'm not the villain, of *course* I'm not vicious, let me portray myself in the most delicate way possible to SHOW you all' but instead he essentially just said f*ck you to everyone - because those who hate him will undoubtedly hate him regardless of what he actually says and does - and showed exactly why he was and still is "at the top of the pyramid", and I'm so glad he did. despite the fact that he appears to me to be one of the most hardworking and humble artists in the business, he still knows he's the shit and he WILL rub that in people's faces whether they like it or not and I absolutely love that for him, to this day lmao. and I really enjoy you two yapping! would definitely love to see more videos of the two of you together in the future.

Well, technically, this wasn’t the first thing that he came back with he was in “Oh” that was the first time we saw him since the hiatus, then red lights, and then this came out💛🌻💛

I think his first appearance after hiatus is on Mixtape OH and the incident was on his Junior High year.
Please let's not forget that hyunjin did not bully being a teen, he NEVER bullied, the "victim" ended saying that they had an argument/fight and that's it, I'm not saying fighting is okay but he never bullied, not even as a kid (and the fact there is no prove of anything makes it unfair to even accuse him)
In Korea they took that very personal and he had to apologize but it was never fair and he didn't deserved it
I don't remember exactly what he was accused of, but the JYPE investigation cleared him of bullying, although he was made to apologize to that one person anyway. Thankfully, one of his teachers wrote a public letter to confirm that Hyunjin had never been involved in bullying and that she/he was getting involved because it was unfair to pick on Hyunjin because he was famous. She added that she had discussed it with other teachers and fellow students of Hyunjin to make sure it wasn't just her memory.
It should be a closed base but, of course, some bullies choose to ignore this and still bring it up hoping they can get people who don't find out facts by themselves to turn against him. Disgusting.
You should watch the behind the scenes for AOTM with your friend to show her what you were talking about. Because hyunjin said the choreography for that was so intense that he had to take breaks alot. He even said that he had to build his stamina and endurance for these types of dances.

Since you didn't bring it up, I'm not sure if you're aware, but it was merely an argument. Teachers and fellow students supported Hyunjin because someone made a hurtful comment about Hyunjin's deceased dog, and it kept being brought up, leading to the argument. As Hyunjin's popularity surged in 2020, some people absurdly labeled this disagreement as bullying, which is really frustrating.

hyunjin is paying the unfair price of being the most popular member, not only the malicious comments come from fans of other groups (mostly male and from the same generation) but also from our own fandom who have other members as bias and get upset that hyunjin has more popularity, instead of helping all the members to be more noticed, they take out their frustration on hyunjin himself.
I absolutely agree with you, I've seen so much negativity towards Hyunjin from "Stay", who are just jealous, while there are no competitions between the boys themselves, they are always happy about each other's successes. It's sad that such good people have such toxic fans😔

The first half of 2021 was a dark time to be a Hyunjin bias. I remember your skz videos were one of the few things that kept me hopeful about the whole situation, so thank you for that Alex! Can't wait for Mads to learn more about skz :)
It's also really important to know that the bullying accusations were at the same time as other popular idols like chuu from loona were targeted with the same kind of accusations. Even knetizens were like "this is weird and suspicious."
Iirc korea was having some sort of political upheaval (i think elections) and yk how kpop is always used to divert public attention in th country, its not a coincidence at all

1 detail I’d add is: Although for the most part groups live in dorms, it’s usually like that only on their starting years and then they move on to different houses (for example half lives in 1 house and another half lives in a different house) eventually getting their own/personal homes. This is what usually happens if the group stays together long enough, breaking the 3-5 year mark.

I have tried to block it from my mind, it is to painful 🥺
but to be honest I think nowadays he is "hated" by certain fans of other idols because of how big he has become, the titles that the media have given him, because of the great fan base he has, because everything he does goes viral, When you are a not so successful idol, everyone loves you, but the moment you start to emerge and even surpass others in achievements, you become a public enemy.
It's the same thing that happens with Stray Kids as a group, now they are one of the most hated groups just because they surpassed many, the scandal that happened in the past with Hyunjin is just an excuse to be able to say something bad about him, they don't hate him because that, that is already clarified, they hate what it has become.

Sorry but respectfully i genuinely don't understand why u should talk and mentioned that issue and false rumor?? Which ended years ago ? well if someone wants to know then we could clear for them but it's not necessary to first dive to smth like that instead let's just focus on positive things and his hardworking songs dance arts etc. Like over 8m was just talking about that .
