The Workshop for Prostitutes in Amsterdam's Red Light District

- In this episode of our series on the Amsterdam Red Light District, we follow former sex worker Mariska Majoor, who learns prostitutes who are starting out the tricks of the trade.
Mariska Majoor has been working tirelessly to inform people about life in the Red Light District for 22 years with her Prostitution Information Center (PIC). One of her main goals is to remove false prejudices - such as that all sex workers are forced to work. We follow Mariska during a prostitution workshop that she gives to Zsòfia, a girl who has just started in the business.
The Red Light District in Amsterdam is notorious for many things. In 2016 we created the series "Achter de Wallen" (Behind the Red Light District), in which we follow the people who work in this neighborhood every day, to get to know the area from their perspective. No pimps, drug dealers or junkies - but cleaners, bachelor party guides and the friendliest window rental company in Amsterdam, where sex workers sometimes come to bake apple pie for each other.

:) think the workshop is great idea but do agree the rooms are very utilitarian..
But at the same time, its neither her, nor their home, and its just a job...be it blow, hand, or more its still a job, in every sense. So no need to make it what its not. If its to comfy men will want to fall asleep, cuddle, or talk, and its not about that, its cum and go.
That's a harsh view of it but at its basic level, that's what it is.

Echt lelijk om daar een terras tegenover te plaatsen, kut voor de vrouwen en voor de mannen die zich bekeken voelen naar binnen te gaan. Dat mensen langslopen oke, een terras gaat erg ver.
Deze vrouw loopt een dame in te leren die amper Nederlands spreekt en zich oncomfortabel voelt. Na het horen van alle uitleg heeft de dame in kwestie ook nooit sekswerk gedaan. Ze heeft simpel weg deals met pooiers die bepalen over de wallen als de dame problemen hebt komt een man aka de pooier geen vrouw hoor haha.
